Democrat Tom Wolf Is Blowing Out Gov. Tom Corbett in Pennsylvania 47%-25%

who cares....he probably was caught with some damaging incident in his past....
Well I'm glad you see it that way. A governor of any state can be very influential in elections especially major elections for the presidency and Congress and having a Democrat take that important post in the all-important electoral state of Pennsylvania where elections are concerned is more than a PLUS! That's great for the Democrats as Pennsylvania has 20 electoral votes!

Nice to see our resident DNC posting troll is alive and well.

Pennsylvania is primarily a blue state it has gone Democrat in the past 6 Presidential elections so is this supposed to be some kind of shock or major surprise?

If Philly and Pittsburgh don't get out and vote then a Republican will win.

Uh... the entire country voted Democratic in 5 of the last 6, hello?

Since the Republican Party came into being 26 out of 34 PA governors have been Republicans.

Uh unless your claiming every person in very state voted Democrat in five of the last six elections then no it didn't.

Sort of

He is a Republican, and took Pennsylvania from one of the higher job creating states to down near dead last. Of course, the Republican held Senate and House made sure that would happen.

Pennsylvania is a moderate state. Corbett has not been a moderate. Neither has much of the House Assembly.

And it looks like Corbett will break the 8 year cycle of Governors winning two terms, then the other party taking it for two terms. It's been happening in PA since at least 1970.

Even Republicans have been polling very low for Corbett. He sucks. He's a Republican, so what else can you expect of him?

Uh, yes it did, you go check the popular vote and get back to me. Nobody said "unanimously"; if votes had to be unanimous there would be no point in holding elections.
Dumbass.

Moderate states generally don't vote the same way in 6 Presidential elections.

There is absolutely no correlation between the party of the governor and the party of the presidential candidate who wins the state.

The Republicans control the state legislature in Pennsylvania as well as 13 of its 18 Congressional seats, plus one U.S. Senate seat despite voting for the Democratic candidate for president for the last 30 years. I'd say that's pretty moderate.
