What the A.G. is in fact saying is that there is no legal framework or process by which the county can secede from the State.

Actually the only way it would work would be a treaty between the States in question, agreed to by both, and probably acknowledged by congress.

I didn’t read anything about vote nullification.
I don’t see any benefit in joining a state dominated by St Louis and Kansas City politics, either. A sideways move at best. They should instead form their own state. Call it New America.

I’ll be in Jerseyville today. I live a few miles south and where I am is a St Louis-influenced, drug addicted, homeless, rust-belt hell-hole.
