Sorry, I did not realize you are to young to know the history of Iraq, never an allies of the USA. Oops, I got ahead of myself, I see you mention the Soviets, in reality you know a bit, as far as being installed by U.S. spooks, never heard that one, I do know that most of Saddam's weapons and support came from the USSR, after the collapse of Communism Saddam had a real need for hard cash, Kuwait seemed like a good target, too bad Bush had Colin Powell as an advisor as well as Bush wishing to empower the United Nations. CBS is broadcast; Fox news is cable. The Fox 'feed' to your tube is direct via the cable, not a local affiliate station. Fox news can tell the FCC to pound sand if they feel like it.

This debate really isn't a debate. Independent studies have shown that NPR reporting on Democrats is overwhelmingly positive while their reporting on Republicans is overwhelmingly negative. They have had this Bias for many years. This isn't anything new. Debating this issue is useless because NPR's Bias has already been proven. The fact the Left/Democrats defend NPR & PBS so vigorously,also proves the point. So what is there to debate? If NPR & PBS spewed only Conservative/Republican propaganda,the Socialists/Progressives would have already had the Government shut them down. Socialists/Progressives do not support free & open speech. Most people understand this now. If NPR & PBS leaned Conservative/Republican,Defunding would have already happened. If they didn't lean Left,the Left wouldn't be defending them so aggressively either. So the case really is closed on this one. They should be forced to have balance or they should be Defunded.
