WTF ? Why do we have to choose one or the other? can't we continue to have both?

I've gotten used to our uniquely American brand of Social Fascist Plutocracy and don't feel like changing at this point.

It seems crazy, but Tom Steyer may be the most centrist of any of them in either party.

Nah, IMHO Uncle Joe is pretty "centrist", he just has to put on show for the far left wing dingbats in his party from time to time.

At first glance, I see a very stupid poll that suggests anyone who isn't a socialist is implied to be a fascist, and that is bullshit. Fascism is about total gov't control, something the Right is obviously not for. Similarly, anyone who isn't a fascist is implied to be a socialist, and that bullshit too.

That's not the point at all. I'm not trying to imply that anyone who isn't a socialist is a fascist, nor that anyone who isn't a fascist is a socialist. I'm pretty sure most Americans are neither. But that's the choice our two-party death spiral is presenting us.

I'm voting neither.

When you present a poll with only two choices and ask who are you voting for in 2020, you are implying that whoever a person votes for between the two supports Fascism or Socialism.

Yep. Less of two evils is still evil. These are the choices the major parties are driving toward. The only sane thing to do is to say no.

But dude! The lesser of 2 evils is still LESS EVIL! You know it's gonna be one or the other, how do you not vote for the lesser of 2 evils? Hell's bells man, I've been voting for the lesser of 2 evils since Reagan, it's irresponsible not to vote for the least evil candidate.

One of the indispensable attributes of socialism is public ownership of means of production, whereas fascism promotes private ownership and government control of the means of production; from an economic standpoint National Socialism wasn't socialist at all.

Of course both of the American Political Crime Families have attributes in common with both socialism and fascism, so for members of either party to call anyone a "socialist" or a "fascist" is hypocritical in the extreme.

Er.. no... socialism is lower stage communism, whereby socialism begins the process of public ownership of the means of production as a pathway to the abolition of private property and the withering away of that state (Communism).

If Bernie was president, he would be bent on changing our form of government to start lining up with globalization.
