Day One Of New Open Border Policy By Republicans

Sen. Mike Lee of Utah seems to be ginning up a division among Republicans in the Senate after a group of senators released its bipartisan deal on the border and Ukraine on Sunday. The $118 billion package, which includes wartime aid to Ukraine, Israel, and other allies, was tied to negotiated border security measures. Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson very quickly called the bill “even worse than we expected,” saying the bill would be “dead on arrival” in the House. Majority Leader Steve Scalise promised the bill would not even receive a vote in the House.

Close this border now Republicans. It's a national crisis.
LOL...you've got to be kidding! Joe Biden has the authority to close the border today, Skews. He could do it with Executive Orders just like he undid the border policies of Trump's Executive Orders on his first day in office! You on the left claiming that it's the GOP that won't ALLOW Biden to secure the border is laughable!

You need procedures going forward. Just sealing the border isn’t an answer.

You really should try paying attention to what the fraud senate bill actually proposes.

The phrase “the border never closes” is a much-replayed quote from the top Democratic negotiator, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT).

A requirement the President to funnel asylum claims to the land ports of entry when more than 5,000 people cross a day. The border never closes, but claims must be processed at the ports. This allows for a more a more orderly, humane asylum processing system.

That’s what they’re there for. Can’t waste ‘em when they’re true. :cool-45:
Here is some truth you will deny. One his first day in office Biden did the following ended all construction on the border wall ended remain in Mexico reinstated catch and release and the massive three year border surge began. During the three following years that the border was being overrun this administration did nothing but try and convince the nation the border was secure and under control. It wasn’t until we hit the election cycle and the administration say how bad their handling of the border was polling they decided we have to get something anything passed. Up to that point this was how the left acted towards the border crisis.

New Open Border Policy By Republicans

Republicans sure are amazing people. Got a democrat in the WH who opened the border on Day One, then did 70 more things since to KEEP it open, has argued for it for the past three years, has a DHS border czar who calls it Climate Change, even has a compliant Senate to help keep it open, and a House which can't even decide which Speaker they want, yet somehow, these amazing republican people are forcing all the democrats to have an open border shoving it down their throats against poor democrats wishes and they can't even stop them! :laughing0301:

Oh how you would love for people to believe that stupid spin. The Republicans wanted Biden to keep Trump's orders in place. OBiden opened the border wide open on day one and refuses to do anything to stop it. It is the #1 issue on the voter's minds, and they aren't blaming Trump for this mess.

It only takes 41 republicans to kill that farce in the senate, I think there will be more than that. It will never arrive in the house.

.

Republicans have no interest in addressing ‘the border.’

For Republicans, ‘the border’ is a hot button wedge issue they use to keep the base ignorant, frightened, and going to the polls.

When you emerge from your coma, you will discover that Republicans put forth HR2 which addressed the Dem / Socialist "open border". That same "open border" the Dems / Socialists have abused to import at least 8 million illegals.

This is the same "open border" the reprehensible Dems / Socialists insist is not the fault of Biden and his "open border" policies.

Beside talking with dead French presidents, does the pretend president know what day of the week it is?
