Daschle is dumped!

According to the book Stealing Elections, John Thune actually became a U.S. Senator two years ago by defeating Tim Johnson, but the election was stolen from him through election fraud. Thune wanted to remain viable in politics in South Dakota, so he chose not to contest the election. Instead, he began to make trips to the Indian reservations to make himself known to that population. His strategy paid off and made it impossible for the Dems to deny him the Senate seat the second time by casting fraudulent Indian votes. Of course, Daschle's devotion to East Coast liberalism in the Senate didn't set well with the South Dakota voters either.

Iowa needs to follow South Dakota's lead and retire Senator Tom Harkin the next time he is up for election.

I remember that. It's so great that Thune finally won. SD finally caught on to Daschle's fakey conservativism. What a great upset! First time a minority leader has not been reelected.
