Seattle at large...Ballard lately
It's the third no count game of the season.

The Seahawks have a lot to prove ................. to themselves in this one.

Wilson and the Offense have been anemic so far in the pre-season. This will be the last game they, the first units, will have to realistically get enough exposure to simulate real game conditions.

The fourth pre-seaon game NEXT WEEK is the least likely game to work on the first units because it is traditionally used to evaluate the new players and cut what was 90 plus all the way down to 53. That makes tomorrow's contest very important getting what will be the final look of this season's Hawks.

Garrett's press conferences didn't show much in the way of how his team will approach tomorrow's game. The Cowboys have a ton of injuries. The latest is Dez Bryant. He won't be playing as he sustained a concussion in practice early this week.

I'm looking forward to see how Tony Romo plays against the Hawk's Defense. Every Season it seems a question mark how Tony runs the Dallas O.

Dallas has a less than average dense side front seven, the Hawks will do fine. Seattle seems to struggle with solid front seven defenses.

i notice that EVEN in PRE SEASON games, the NFL gives teams from the same divion common opponents since the hawks have been playing the same teams the Rams have.

Seems the Hawks are testing out their offensive line on the rushing game...both Michael and Pope have been ripping up yardage. It will be interesting to see who will survive after Rawls returns. While Wilson can't seem to find the right page with his receivers he will be fine once the season starts. He seems kinda out of sync.

It's early, Seattle has talent and can right their ship quickly.

Seattle on offensive and defense look real good the majority of the game. Wilson was in sync with his receivers and the running game was very adequate. Pass blocking was there for the whole game with only one sack that was a result of a bad snap.
Wilson had a QBR of 135.4 and completed 76% of his passes...not a bad day.
What was impressive was Ryan's five punts for 53.6 yard average.

Hard to keep in mind that NOTHING was on the line in last nights contest. Romo got injured on Dallas's third play. They have a SOLID backup in Prescott. Fortunately for the Hawk Defense test he was a talented 2nd stringer and has been all pre season.

Wilson stepped up for there qtrs and played like he is supposed to. It was a relief to see the Offense and the O-Line in particular play well against a pretty good Dallas Defense. The Hawks did win the contest still without Graham or Rawls who Carroll insists will be ready to play by game 1. I think the Offense is set even though they are still rotating the O-Tackles. It doesn't seem to be a problem. A couple of shakey snaps on Offense and one bad long snap to Ryan. Nothing that can't be cleaned up.

Still the game was meaningless and when there are actual chips to play for the speed and intensity escalates.

It doesn't look good for Brandon Browner as he was playing late in the game with the wannabee's. He seems to have lost some speed. I wouldn't look to see him in the final 53 man roster. Too bad. He USED to bring some solid hits but you still have to get to the ball on time or your solid hits turn to misses.

Give me a break, the Cowboy's defense is average at best. If your hope is that the offensive line is better, based on the Cowboys defense, you are in for a long delusional year. It is only the better than average defenses that Seattle has issues with, Minnesota proved that.

Thats why I was impressed with my Rams beating the fagboys the fact they have one of the better defenses in the league.

I heard from our TV commentators that the Dallas D is rated 7th. Brock Huard isn't an idiot.

Never said a thing about Huard, I don't care what a Seattle homer announcer says. I'm going by the current suspension and injury list and they aren't that deep

Three FG's against a team picked by some to finish dead last in the AFC West doesn't bode well for the Lambs. I think reality should be starting to set in for Lambs fans.

Who is/was suspended? As far as I know only one player was slightly hurt in the game against Dallas. Can you give me a link to your current suspension/injury list? For the life of me I can't find what you are talking about.

About Huard....all teams in the NFL have homers on their TV staff...if you watched other teams on the NFL network you could see what I mean when those game were announced by the home teams...I mean the 1st preseason Pittsburgh game was over the top Steelers, you could have sworn that Pittsburgh was winning by at least five touchdowns. They lost 30-17.

It could have been worse. I could have turned the sound off on the TV and listened to Steve Raible ex Hawk WR on the radio. That guy practically craps his pants every time the Seahawks score a TD.

I like to think I can do my own analysis when watching a game.

I agree. I can't think of a single Hawk who is suspended.

Dallas Cowboys face fine for three suspended players

The Cowboys are a wreck on defense and they were bad in 2015, they also lost Hardy.

As far as Huard being a homer, that's fine, like you did with Pittsburgh announcers, I discount what they say. Huard is a good homer, its not a bad thing.

I was pointing out that his information was biased, which it is and you by the example you gave, seem to agree.

Of course I agree...that is what home team announcer are paid to do. But I wonder why the NFL channel aren't using neural commenters like they do during the regular season games..

Your post made it sound like you were talking about Seattle having players suspended....Personally I could care less about other teams having players suspended.

Sorry about that mix up. The NFL I think uses local announcers to save some money and it is also good PR. The only reason to bring up the Cowboy's suspensions was to reinforce the fact that the defense of Dallas is not good at all. Without Romo though, they are doomed. The Skins will win the division.

If the cowboys front office was smart, they would make prescott the starter. He reminds me an awful lot of wilson. With prescott as the starter and that dallas D,they would have a very good chance of making it back to the playoffs again this year.

True enough Huard is a Seahawk's fan. He was a starting QB for the Hawks until a devastating blind side hit by a Denver Corner and by then he was never the same. I had an opportunity to talk with him personally after practice when the Hawks set up camp in Cheney WA 200 or so miles East of Seattle. At that time he assured me that his injury was behind him, but it wasn't. That was the Season they acquired Matt Hasselbeck which was why I and my buddy Jay Craig drove over there and stayed a couple of days to evaluate Hasselbeck for ourselves. Huard was surprisingly easy to talk to giving myself and Jay at least fifteen minutes of his time. I guess those kind of moments do stick with a fan. I am still a fan of Brock and his kindness on that day certainly plays into that feeling. Huard tried out for several teams as he bounced around in the latter days and seasons he only played back up. He only actually played for the Hawks and the Colts that I know of.

Have you seen Prescott play? His QB numbers were off the charts in the first two PS games until he ran up against Seattle's D in game III. He is one of the best Rookie QB's I have seen in a long time. He looks smoother than either Mariotta and Winston at this stage of his NFL career.
