I think they have a chance with the new series. I thought they did a good job last night! I liked the story threads they set up.
 
I did not watch the original but I am watching this one. What happened that we have to resurrect old ideas and even older actors to breathe life into television? Can the Ed Sullivan show be far behind?

Dallas is pretty good, mostly because the old guys are stellar in recycled roles with recycled ideas.
 
My sister said Larry Hagman is too old for the part. I said corrupt is corrupt, and nobody does it better than Larry Hagman.

Those old warhorses are having a field day, you can tell.

In addition to his own health battle, Hagman has been taking care of his wife of some 58 years, Swedish-born Maj Axelsson, who suffers from Alzheimer's diseass and requires 24-hour nursing care. The couple has two children.

My heart goes out to him.
