What do you propose as an ailment to fix all mankind?

Everybody should eat more ice cream. That might sound glib but think about it. Who's angry while eating ice cream?

While I agree there is some crazy and very sad stuff going on, just wanna ask you a question.

What is your proposed solution for all of this? Should all religion/faith be forbidden?
Should all Christians, Jews, Muslims, Cultist be killed and/or forbidden? (Do you see where I'm going with this?) If you reply yes, what does that make you?

The state of our humanity is that we are all capable of doing the most horrendous of things. We hurt one another. We hurt ourselves. We stumble, we fall. What is it that keeps us back from hurting others and ourselves? If you reply education, common sense, intellect is the answer, (which are all good things), what about those who cannot have those things? Things happen, accidents happen, people get hurt physically, mentally, and perhaps they cannot afford education, or they are not mentally able to further advance in education. Or should all those people be killed too?

What you are seeing is sin. You see the "law" being broken. But do you know the cure for our brokeness, our state of being, to help us grow?

The only ones that I know of that get some sort of self glory for killing in the name of their "god" are the Muslims. ( I should say some, not all) They are allowed that in certain circumstances according to the Quran..

"O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil)," (Quran 9:123).

If you see someone murdering in the name of "Christ", well you and I both know they are not representing Christ in that circumstance. They are working in the flesh and/or are sinning.

Jesus Christ said to love our enemies. Turn the other cheek, and rather bless them, God willing, win them over. Love covers a multitude of sins. He is the New Covenant, the promised Messiah, that died for the sins of the world. What He did on that cross fulfills the 10 Commandments. Because we ALL sin. Whether its lying, stealing, adultery, murder, we ALL have sinned. Upon Revelation of His Truth and Love and why God Himself died for us, He changes mens' hearts all because of His love.

Even after that, we are still struggling in the flesh on this earth. We still fall short, the difference is, through Jesus Christ our Lord alone, now we can have the Grace of God, (only by HIS righteousness, not our own) and that is not something we can "earn" by being good, because none of us are "good". We can put on a mask and act like it, pretend we are holier than thou, but we are all in the same boat.

(If we bring up protecting our children or loved ones against someone who means to hurt them, that's altogether different and dependant upon each situation, I'd hope we could agree on that)

But seriously think about it. When someone kills and if they say its for Jesus Christ, we know what He said about it. And, in worst case scenerio, even up the worst of sinners, the Grace of the Lord is beyond our comprehesion. Even when the Lord has Grace in circumstances where someone who has murdered someone and then repents, that doesn't negate someone falsely saying they are killing in the name of Christ. (Crusades, etc) We all know thats just wrong.

As for someone bringing up the OT in the Bible, well God could do whatever He needed in order to keep the bloodline for the birth of Jesus Christ - so then we ALL men can be saved. And if He has THAT MUCH GRACE, to die for all our sins, then we best not speak of matters in the OT where some where killed. He is GOD, He knows mens hearts and if we will turn to Him or not and rather turn to wickedness. He knows the innocent, He knows the depths of our souls.

Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There is HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ. He gives peace, not like the world gives. He helps us repent, He grows us in love.

i assure you that when south viet-nam fell to communists - our vietnamese friends who fought side by side with us - were rounded -up and sent to disney and they have lived on sugar rock candy mountain - where they have lived happily every after
