Obviously, this is nothing but another pander to the black voting segment of American society. Booker doesn't want to be left out, so he'll try to make it appear as though he has the inside track on this "issue".
There is no need to talk about whether 2019 blacks should get paid for a slavery that ended a century before their time. No one, including Booker, is thinking about that. What can reasonably be discussed is >>
1. The political ramifications of Booker's vote ploy. What good it might do him.
2. The idea that WHITES should get reparations$$$, to compensate for 54 years of Affirmative Action discrimination against them, and other forms of black privilege.
