The nefarious agenda behind anything on TV is to sell ad time, that's it. If people would watch a video feed of an aquarium in a dentist's office then that's what would be on. Content is driven by focus groups of dumbasses not secret agendas to make people dumb or easily led or immoral, people are already like that.
