Conservative at Cain event calls Dems 'party of KKK'

rnc chief to say it was 'wrong' to exploit racial conflict for votes

it was called "the southern strategy," started under richard m. Nixon in 1968, and described republican efforts to use race as a wedge issue -- on matters such as desegregation and busing -- to appeal to white southern voters.

ken mehlman, the republican national committee chairman, this morning will tell the naacp national convention in milwaukee that it was "wrong."

"by the '70s and into the '80s and '90s, the democratic party solidified its gains in the african american community, and we republicans did not effectively reach out," mehlman says in his prepared text. "some republicans gave up on winning the african american vote, looking the other way or trying to benefit politically from racial polarization. I am here today as the republican chairman to tell you we were wrong."

deflection...!!!!

Still no proof of any Dem today being KKK, these house Negroes contradict themselves every time, they tell other blacks to stop whining and dwelling on slavery because its been over for well over 145 years but bring up the Democratic Party as the party of slavery and KKK when it suits them, mainly because they know the Republican Party is more like those Democrats of old and need to deflect attention away from that.
How many blacks are members of the racist CBC?

And why are you blacks so hateful of jews?

Oh, that's right, they are just "typical white persons", eh?:eusa_whistle:

Racist pricks!

Why would you say "you Blacks"? I am Black and have no problem with Jews, even dated one for a few months in the service.

It's called bigotry my friend.

This "negro"? Shades of segregation, racism seems to rear it's ugly head again when democrats feel threatened by a Black politicians
Bass and his ilk are just pissed to see a party they falsely try to claim is racist, is now showing serious support of a black man........And they are just as pissed to see a SUCCESSFUL black man like Cain, telling it like it truly is.

No wonder they hate Bill Cosby, the mayor of Philly, and Herman Cain.....They are laying out the truth, period!

From your own party you dumb faggot:

I don't give a fuck what this un-named RNC chief said.

The fact is LBJ a Democrat President said he would keep ******* voting democratic for the next two hundred years.

And so far you have proven him right.

Apparently you have not read what was going on in this statement, and as to why he asked the question. It was more of a misunderstanding, not bigotry.

So you going to deny history? LBJ knew that by passing and supporting civil rights legislation that the South was going to shift from Democrat to Republican and that blacks were going to vote Democratic, thats doesn't excuse the fact that the Republican party hasn't done anything to get black voters, a point they acknowledge and you stick your head in the sand on. I've already fed the trolls enough.

Then show me where the bigoted words "You Blacks" are being misunderstood please. I do not see any misunderstanding though others may see it.

So calling HG "You Blacks" was not meant personally and just attached personally as a mistake. :eusa_eh:

I just said that I believe it to be a clear form of bigotry when someone classes a person both personally and pointed as "You Blacks", "You Jews", "You...".

They passed the civil rights legislation, they are good stewards "Or was" of capitalism that provided jobs to minorities "Until the progressives took over". What more should they do to get the black vote? Kiss black ass? I dont think so. Blacks are voting for there own future, have been since the 60's, and if that is not apparent to you now, it never will be. You guys voted yourselves this life you now live, so one way or the other you either need to start voting differently or just except your circumstances. You created your own problems, noone else does. Look at the inner cities, ran by democrats that blacks keep voting for, just about all of them shitholes, but blacks keep voting lockstep for democrats who make promises they never keep.

It was misinterpreted, when he said "You blacks" he was speaking of those who keep voting democrat, not blacks as a whole. It was also settled about 3 posts later, long before you came along in the topic.

Well,KKK Grand Wizard (D) Robert Byrd did serve in Congress for 40yrs. This is history. Unfortunately most young Socialist/Progressive Democrats have been too dumbed-down to actually know history. This Cain supporter got it right.

Southern Democrats fled to the Republicn Party because a Democratic Southern President signed the civil rights acts into laws, get it right, only the southern Dixiecrats opposed the acts not all Dems. The fact remains tht the Republicans welcomes such racist retards like Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms into the fold which is why the South is mostly Republican now, they're composed of the same retards who were Southern racist Democrats, they only switched parties.

Byrd was not a sitting KKK Grand Wizard while in office, end of story, I don't give him a pass for his past KKK ties and neither do I give the Republicans who courted Southern whites racists into their party via the Southern strategy which you desperately ignore, why are you ignoring history?

Are you pretending that there are no racists on the left?

Charlie, don't be ashamed of your hypocrisy. Embrace it. Live it. You bought it, you own it.

When have I ever insinuated that there are/were no racists on the left? Can anyone on the right name any KKK in the Democratic Party? If they can't they need to keep their traps shut.

Byrd. Now how about you name some Tea party KKK members. By the way the Republican party disowned Duke. gave him no money and tried to strip him of the republican party affiliation.

Wow. It took us 13 posts to get to Byrd. I really thought we'd get there before 10.

At any rate, the Kluckers are douches. Neither party wants them. They have always been an insidious and despicable lot, but I'd argue that there is a little difference in being a klucker pre and post civil rights. To be a Klucker today is to basically put a sticker on your forehead that states "Trailer Trash".

It's asinine to stick them with any party or movement. If you go down that logical fallacy, you simply look stupid.
