Congress should be fired!

Haha of course it’s firing.
What if Democrats change their nominee in the primary for a Congressional seat? That would be firing someone but saying you can keep your job for the remainder of the year until we lose the seat to the Republicans. Our new Republican candidate will beat the stuffing out of the new person we nominated because no one knows who they are! That happens every 12th of Never! Congressional Representatives who are incumbents will almost always win reelection. It's just a fact!

That's not firing. That is losing an election.
He's binge-watching 'The Apprentice' while doing this:

The reason that the Constitution provides for a potential total replacement of the House every two years is for exactly this reason. By not using this provision, the voters allow Congress to exceed its powers.

Technically, Congressional Reps work for the House and Senate, and only their respective houses can "fire them" as they did with Santos and may likely do with Menendez.
They work for the people that elected them, the people care fire them at every review, two years for hte house, 6 for the Senate.

Additionally, yes, each Chamber of Congress has rules and can refuse to sit someone that is elected.

So there are a number of ways they can be fired.

I am not disagreeing that an incumbent has a better chance of not losing their job. So not sure your point

Who in the world do you think they work for?
You say they are employees of the government. Who is the government, the people?

Elected officials in either house of the Congress do not get fired. When using 'fired' as an euphemism, you should understand what exactly you are doing. May as well take metaphors as facts.

Elected officials represent the citizenry in a representative democracy. They are not hired.

now go back to trolling somebody else's posts.

Of course they are hired....they are hired by the people, and paid by the people...and can be fired by the people.

That's not firing. That is losing an election. You will have to wait 5 more years to clean out the Senates current flock. What are the odds?
Pretty good.
AZ Kirsten Sinema has an uphill battle
OH Sherrod Brown is very iffy
MT Tester is toast
WV if Manchin retires

If things roll right for the GOP the 2025 senate could be 54-46

That's the way it will have to be done due to the structure of the Senate terms. It takes 6 years to do a turnover.

The Senate may well be 51 or 52 GOP in 2025, which the Party needs, considering the House will be blue by 15 or 20, and the GoP President will be a convicted felon.
