You have not made one correct comment for weeks. Out of wedlock births have nothing to do with poverty. Being married and having children while working a minimum wage job means that family will be in poverty and on welfare. But hey, at least they didn't have kids out of wedlock.

On February 26, 2018, the Economic Policy Institute published a report evaluating the progress of the black community since the 1968 Kerner Report was released. The study compared the improvement in black communities in 2018 with the black community at the time of the Kerner Commission. Titled “50 Years After the Kerner Commission,” the study concluded that there had been some improvements in the situation blacks faced, but blacks still faced disadvantages based on race. These are some of the findings:

African Americans today are much better educated than they were in 1968 but still lag behind whites in overall educational attainment. More than 90 percent of younger African Americans (ages 25 to 29) have graduated from high school, compared with just over half in 1968—which means they’ve nearly closed the gap with white high school graduation rates. They are also more than twice as likely to have a college degree as in 1968 but are still half as likely as young whites to have a college degree.

The substantial progress in educational attainment of African Americans has been accompanied by significant absolute improvements in wages, incomes, wealth, and health since 1968. But black workers still make only 82.5 cents on every dollar earned by white workers, African Americans are 2.5 times as likely to be in poverty as whites, and the median white family has almost 10 times as much wealth as the median black family.

With respect to homeownership, unemployment, and incarceration, America has failed to deliver any progress for African Americans over the last five decades. In these areas, their situation has either failed to improve relative to whites or has worsened. In 2017 the black unemployment rate was 7.5 percent, up from 6.7 percent in 1968, and is still roughly twice the white unemployment rate. In 2015, the black homeownership rate was just over 40 percent, virtually unchanged since 1968, and trailing a full 30 points behind the white homeownership rate, which saw modest gains over the same period. And the share of African Americans in prison or jail almost tripled between 1968 and 2016 and is currently more than six times the white incarceration rate.10

Following up on this, Richard Rothstein of the Economic Policy Institute wrote an op-ed published in the February 28 edition of the New York Daily News titled, “50 years after the Kerner Commission, minimal racial progress.” After studying the Kerner Report, Rothstein stated: “So little has changed since 1968 that the report remains worth reading as a near-contemporary description of racial inequality.”

I will use the FBI Uniform Crime Report crime offender data for 2020 to make my point. According to the 2020 Uniform Crime Report, there were 7,173,072 crime offenders in the United States. 3,642,932 whites, 2,122,038 blacks. Clearly, the numbers show that 1.5 million more whites were offenders than blacks. Whites were 51 percent of the criminal offenders in 2020. Blacks were 30 percent. In any circumstance, 51 percent is a majority. Instead of facing the problem of crime among whites, this is the answer:

As if by magic, a group that had 1.5 million more offenders suddenly now has less of a crime problem because instead of looking at the total number of crimes, crime is broken down into units of 100,000. If this is being done to guess the probability of the commission of a crime, logic shows us that if there are more whites than blacks, the probability of a crime committed by someone white is greater than it being done by someone black. If the crime in your community is so high that you must divide two numbers to get a percentage, then multiply it by 100,000 to claim that you don’t have serious problems, you have serious issues. Who decided that occurrences must be divided by 100,000? Why couldn’t it be 1? What happened to individualism? The excuse begins with whites being five times the population of blacks. I was told that since whites have five times the population, they must commit five times the number of crimes for the problem to be equal to what blacks are doing. “We are allowed to commit more crime because there are more of us.” If this is not lunacy, then what is?

The problem with this opinion is if you multiply things by 5 to make the populations the same, there are things that no longer exist for blacks. We would have more economic opportunities. We would have equal representation relative to numbers of police, lawyers, judges, and political representatives. Increased black representation affects public policy formation, law enforcement, and legislation. Crime would reduce because of the increased opportunities; wealth would increase, and poverty would be dramatically reduced. Things would be dramatically different. Yet to the racist, nothing else changes except that crime increases. The racist subculture continues arguing this ridiculous per capita idiocy no matter what. The use of per capita fails miserably and is used by the racist subculture to deny a severe crime problem THEY need to address instead of trying to preach to us.

The argument coming from the right is that since blacks are 13 percent of the population, blacks should be committing 13 percent of the crime. The problem with this claim is that percentages come attached with real numbers, and when you use those real numbers, the 13 percent excuse has no merit as an argument. In 2020, whites made up 51 percent of all criminal offenders.

Let’s return to the 2020 Uniform Crime Report Crime data I just presented. Again, in 2020, there were 7,173,072, crime offenders in the United States. That 7.1 million is 100 percent of the offenders in America. In 2020 according to the census, the U.S. population was 331,449,281.31 That number is 100 percent of the U.S. population. Out of 331,449,281 citizens, 7,173,072 people or 2.16 percent of the American population were criminal offenders. The 3,642,932 white offenders were 1.09 percent of the American population. The 2,122,038 black offenders were 0.6 percent of the American population. This is where the 13 percent excuse fails. Simple math shows the misuse of percentages. The 13 percent excuse uses the percentage of blacks committing a crime against the percentage of the black population instead of it being used to reflect the percentage of blacks committing a specific violation. The numbers here show that 13 percent of the American people are not committing 50 percent of the crime. Furthermore, they show that 1 percent of the population is 51 percent of the criminal offenders and they are not black.

In 2020 blacks led in arrests in 2 categories in the Uniform Crime Report, murder and robbery. I am not going to pretend this is a good thing, but let’s look at the arrest categories whites led in:

Rape, Aggravated assault, Burglary, Larceny-theft, Motor vehicle theft, Arson, Violent crime, Property crime, Other assaults, Forgery and counterfeiting, Fraud, Embezzlement, buying, receiving, and possessing stolen property, Vandalism, carrying, possessing, Weapons, Prostitution and commercialized vice, Sex offenses besides rape and prostitution, Drug abuse violations, Gambling, Offenses against the family and children, Driving under the influence, Liquor laws, Drunkenness, Disorderly conduct, Vagrancy, All other offenses (except traffic), Suspicion, Curfew and loitering law violations.

There are 30 categories of crime listed by the FBI in the Uniform crime reports, whites lead in 27-28 of those categories annually. Whites are arrested nearly 3 times more than blacks. Arrests are not made on a perc apita basis and whites have more interactions with police based on the numbers of arrests.

In 2020, Whites were 51 percent of the offenders for all crimes committed in America. A white offender committed Fifty-four percent of the crimes against persons. Whites committed most property crimes (42%) and crimes against society (65%). Seven out of every ten arrests for crimes in America is on someone white. Whites have a history of criminal behavior that started at the very beginning of this country. Whites have elected numerous criminals to make laws in this country. Whites organized crime and made it a corporate business. Whites control the manufacturing, shipment, and distribution of drugs in this country. Whites made two of the most destructive drugs legal, creating millions of addicted citizens. I am talking about alcohol and nicotine. Whites have embezzled and scammed people out of trillions of dollars in the years America has been a country. Whites control the manufacturing, shipping, sales, and distribution of deadly weapons in this country.

Per capita is used by racists as an excuse. You don't get a pass on crime just because there are more of you. Whites should not be anywhere near these kinds of numbers, but they are and excuses will not reduce the high crime among whites.

Can you explain to me why Iceland (One of the whitest countries you can find) a place where there no black people has the highest rates for father-lesness and unwed birth rate ?

If you were truly concerned about out of wedlock births, you'd also be just as concerned about white out of wedlock births too.

And by the way (Not that I should even have to say this) the birth rate among unmarried Black women has been dropping since 1992 – meaning that they are acting more responsibly, not less.

The reason the out of wedlock birth rate goes up is because the birth rate among married Black women has been dropping even faster, something that has been going on since the 1950s. So although single Black women have cut back by 1/3 on children, married African American couples have cut back even further, BY OVER 1/2, on how many children they’re having.

Also an out of wedlock birth tells you nothing about whether the mother lives with the father or gets married later, just as a legitimate birth tells you nothing about divorce, separation or incarceration. Single-parent households would be a better measure.

It’s funny to me how they love saying black women are the ones making these out of wedlock babies yet when it comes time to make a show and give out paychecks about babies being born to unwed or teen moms they get white women.

In 1939 during this time of great black two-parent families, the poverty rate for employed married black couples was 89 percent. In 1959, the poverty rate for that same couple was 54.9 percent. These sky-high rates of poverty occurred during the time “conservatives” rant about. Today due to the " liberal welfare state breaking up the black family by giving them welfare," black poverty is half of what it was in 1959 and more than 1/3 of what it was in those imaginary grand old glorious days of the two-parent black family. In 1970 black family poverty was 32.2 percent.

So this white man comes out jail in 2004 and let off parole in 2007. He could only keep his nose clean for under a year bcoz in 2008 he was charged with indecent exposure in south Carolina. That carries up to 3 years in shawshank (well it would have done had he been blk) but that charge was reduced to "Public Disorderly Conduct" ............Because of course it was.

Under a year later in 2009 Raymond Moody raped and murdered Brittanee Drexel

It was only last month in May, 13 years after the Britanee Drexel murder that the authorities finally got Raymond Moody

I remember this story in 2009.

I remember how Brittanee Drexel was the national story at the time and when Timothy Taylor's name was put out front ? The white authorities made sure his name was in the spotlight for as long as possible as they attempted to make him confess to a crime he didn't commit.

But now the real story of the white man who killed her is out notice how they don't even mention it and they're treating it as a local story /

If the white authorities in 2009 would have focused on Raymond Moody the Britanee Drexel family would not have had to wait 13 years to see the murderer brought to justice.

In fact if the white authorities would have done there job at ANY point Brittanee Drexel would not have died

If Raymond Moody would have got the life sentence in 1983 that the crime of raping, sodomizing and kidnapping an 8 year girl really deserved ? Brittanee Drexel would still be alive..

Had they put Moody up in court for indecent exposure in 2008, Moody would have been to busy in court to be out here stalking and killing young women and Brittanee Drexel would still be alive.
