Excellent! There are women that regret their decision,and maybe 24 hours to think would have changed that,who knows. It's definitely something a woman should think long and hard about.

This bill should bring to light the fact that, for many women, this "choice" isn't really a choice, but an act of desperation.

The only problem with this bill, is that it will not accomplish what it hopes to set out to do. Do you honestly think that someone in an abusive relationship is just suddenly going to open up to the doctor, if they're boyfriend/husband has threatened to beat them if they show up without having the abortion done?

It's a well intentioned bill, but I don't see how it's going to help those in this position.

Women should be free from coercion with regards to abortion...even state sanctioned coercion to NOT have an abortion.

This bill should bring to light the fact that, for many women, this "choice" isn't really a choice, but an act of desperation.

Because they can't afford to have a child...Because their contraception failed...Because they would feel compelled to remain in an abusive relationship with the child's father...All desperate situations having nothing to do with being coerced into having an abortion.

This bill is simply another attempt to restrict a woman's access to abortion.
