Aren't Americans tired of this know nothing till press tells Obama what he should know?

He should have known the VA in Phoenix was cooking the books? He has people for that and it doesn't sound like they knew either. Welcome to the real world.
Then-Senator Barack Obama, November 12, 2007: After seven years of an Administration that has stretched our military to the breaking point, ignored deplorable conditions at some VA hospitals, and neglected the planning and preparation necessary to care for our returning heroes, Americas veterans deserve a President who will fight for them not just when its easy or convenient, but every hour of every day for the next four years.

Obama was right...unfortunately they are still waiting for the president they deserve.
Obama held assignments on the Senate Committees for Foreign Relations, Environment and Public Works and Veterans' Affairs through December 2006.[91] In January 2007, he left the Environment and Public Works committee and took additional assignments with Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs
"We knew nothing, it's not a big deal, we're handling it, nothing to see here, move along"
He knew about it when he was in the Senate. He was on the Senate Committee...He was warned about it by his transition team in 2008, even before he took office.
