I've pre-ordered this book, and will provided a review after I read it.

The author is quite respected as a neutral journalist, but I supect the usual barking moonbats will start the character assassination campaign.

The New York Timesreported Sunday evening that a forthcoming investigative bombshell book on Hillary and Bill Clinton will soon be the focus of major feature stories and is regarded as “the most anticipated and feared book of a presidential cycle.”

For weeks, news outlets from the Washington Post to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer have alluded that the highly-anticipated May 5release of Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich by three-time New York Times bestselling investigative journalist Peter Schweizer could be a presidential game-changer. Schweizer is President of the non-partisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI) and a Senior Editor-at-Large at Breitbart News.

The New York Times revealed that Clinton Cash describes how the Clintons’ income from 2001 to 2012 was at least $136.5 million, how Mr. Clinton would routinely fetch half-a-million dollar honorariums for speeches while Mrs. Clinton was Secretary of State, and much more.

Despite the Clinton campaign’s ability to dismiss “critical books as conservative propaganda,” the Times says “Clinton Cash is potentially more unsettling, both because of its focused reporting and because major news organizations are expected to pursue the story lines found in the book.”

The Times adds, “Members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee have been briefed about the book’s findings.”...

New York Times Clinton Cash Most Anticipated and Feared Book of a Presidential Cycle

Mr. Clinton would routinely fetch half-a-million dollar honorariums for speeches while Mrs. Clinton was Secretary of State

nothing wrong with that...it's done by politicians all the time...

The best Secretary of State money could buy.

The Clintonistas will attack the source and dodge the facts.

The book, a copy of which was obtained by The New York Times, asserts that foreign entities who made payments to the Clinton Foundation and to Mr. Clinton through high speaking fees received favors from Mrs. Clinton’s State Department in return.

“We will see a pattern of financial transactions involving the Clintons that occurred contemporaneous with favorable U.S. policy decisions benefiting those providing the funds,” Mr. Schweizer writes.

Pathetic deflection, but not unexpected.

The book will be released in early May. It is about far more than speech honoraria.

And this is done on a regular basis.....by other politicians......by other lobby groups...

Can you show me how this is illegal or unethical?

No it isnt. Bill couldn't get that kind of money for his speeches when his wife wasn't SOS. Hmmmmm.

And now you think it's illegal?

The speeches are chump change compared to the money laundering payrola racket of the Clinton Foundation.

Rand Paul has seen and was discussing this book and how it details how Bill and Hillary were getting donations from foreign entities for political favors (the Ukraine billionaire and Iran sanctions is a prime example).

I liked what Paul said "Hillary's presidential campaign will effectively end in May". Who will be next? Liawatha?

but the speeches are legit, yet why would someone try to ostracize over this issue, shallow and pedantic, envy, hate? Or a motivator to get suckers to buy their book based on partisanship with no merit?

The NYT is reporting on this book, hardly a RW mouth organ.

His examples include a free-trade agreement in Colombia that benefited a major foundation donor’s natural resource investments in the South American nation, development projects in the aftermath of the Haitian earthquake in 2010, and more than $1 million in payments to Mr. Clinton by a Canadian bank and major shareholder in the Keystone XL oil pipeline around the time the project was being debated in the State Department....

And if he's correct, will you consider Bill and Hillary crooks?

They're not legit if they are done for a quid pro quo arrangement, bub.

If you have foreign entities paying bill Cilton and donating to the Clinton foundation based on political favors from the SOS , than yes, what they have done is highly illegal.

I doubt he is wrong, if he is right will you still vote for Killary? Why of course you will, because you don't know any better. Right?

Get past trying to sell Hillary Clinton off as a sweet little old grandma, she's as corrupt as they come and I suspect the hammer is about to drop

Do you really think it will make a difference? All this stuff is coming out now, 19 months before the election, and in a few months will all be forgotten and everybody will have moved on. And when Hillary's opponents try to bring it up when the campaign starts seriously heating up, it will be declared old news--beating a dead horse--and all that.

The Democrats overall tend to set the bar very very low in what they want re ethics and a moral center in their candidates. And most don't read books or the New York Times or any other serious publications. So the only ones who will care are those who wouldn't vote for Hillary in any case.
