I don't disagree that blacks were kept from opportunit in the past, but thanks to the civil rights bills made possible by republicans passing these bills, blacks now have opportunity to compete.

Hiring should be based on skills, knowledge and aptitude...NOT government mandated preference to minorities, regardless of qualification, just because of the color of their skin.

I don't think they are pushing for hiring minorities who are unqualified, I think they are pushing for ignoring qualified white people while they look for qualified minorities. I mean that's still illegal tho...

In this day and age, qualified minorities would have no problem finding jobs. No, this is affirmative action quotas and they are looking for hiring unqualified blacks.
