Is he losing Chris Mathews. I doubt it but he almost sounds sane here:lol:

Chris Matthews is certifiable. Just the other day, he was claiming it was unconstitutional to challenge the President. What a loon.

In what context?

If a general in the military refuses an order from the President..and challenges him on it..

It is unconstitutional.

No it isnt.

It is against military law.

Asked, and answered. See RED above.

Again..which question?

Romney did something no other candidate has done before in the history of Presidential campaigns. He questioned the Presidents actions in the middle of a military/security crisis. While it was ongoing.

That's a very dangerous precedent.

That is not what Conservative is talking about.

Skip to about the five minute mark and listen to the six minute mark if you don't want to wait for it.

Matthews plays a clip of the second debate. It goes like this:

MITT ROMNEY: I don't think anyone really believes that you're a person who's going to be pushing for oil and gas and coal. You'll get your chance in a moment. I'm still speaking.

BARACK OBAMA: Well, Governor, if you're asking a question–

ROMNEY: That wasn't a question. That was a statement.

Then Matthews comments on the exchange:

CHRIS MATTHEWS: You know, a couple points. I don't think he understands the Constitution of the United States. He's the president of the United States. You don't say, "you'll get your chance."

Matthews is a blooming idiot.

.

While I don't agree Matthews is a "blooming idiot"..I think Matthews was wrong. I saw that exchange, Romney was being a boar..but nothing about it was unconstitutional.

Simple enough..

What part of this escapes you?

The President shall be commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the militia of the several states, when called into the actual service of the United States; he may require the opinion, in writing, of the principal officer in each of the executive departments, upon any subject relating to the duties of their respective offices, and he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment.

Civilian law covers that too.

Romney was being a boar? He had the floor. The President was interrupting him.

Check the first debate. Romney was interrupting both the Moderator and Obama.

That was the protocol he set up.
