Chicago - Khilafah Conference 2010 - EMERGING WORLD ORDER

In Hizb ut-Tahrir's draft constitution for its unified Islamic state, any non-Muslims living in the state may not serve in any of the ruling offices, such as the position of caliph, nor vote for these officials, as these positions require those who fulfil them to believe in the system. Muslims have "the right to participate in the election of the Khaleefah [head of state] and in giving him the pledge (ba'iah). Non-Muslims have no right in this regard." However non-Muslims may voice "complaints in respect to unjust acts performed by the rulers or the misapplication of Islam upon them."

In regards to foreign policy, Article 186 of the draft constitution states: "The State is forbidden to belong to any organisation that is based on something other than Islam or that applies non-Islamic rules". This includes organizations such as the UN, the World Bank, and the IMF and the Arab League. Article 185 of the draft constitution states: "It is permitted to conclude good neighbouring, economic, commercial, financial, cultural and armistice treaties."

This is from the conference last year:

A speaker identified by conference organizers as Imam Jaleel Abdul Adil said that "if they offer us the sun, or the moon, or a nice raise, or a passport, or a house in the suburbs or even a place to pray at the job, on the condition that we stop calling for Islam as a complete way of life - we should never do that, ever do that - unless and until Islam becomes victorious or we die in the attempt." (To see the clip, click here.)

Later, the following dialogue ensued between the imam and a member of the audience over whether Shariah or the Constitution should be the supreme law of the land in the United States (click here to see the clip):

Audience member: "Would you get rid of the Constitution for Shariah, yes or no?"

Imam: "Over the Muslim world? Yes, it would be gone."

Audience Member: And so if the United States was a Muslim world, the Constitution would be gone?"

Imam: "If the United States was in the Muslim world, the Muslims who are here would be calling and happy to see the Shariah applied, yes we would."

Audience Member: "And the Constitution gone. That's all."

So what's your solution? Send in SWAT teams to disburse the group? Yeah, that'll go over well for the group's recruiting effort. It would probably triple it.

No Maggie but as Sherry said I hope they have lots of "ears" at that conference.

I would also suggest that people boycott the Marriott in Chicago. No one forced them to host this. How many reputable conference centers would allow the KKK or neo Nazi group to assemble there? And I doubt if those groups could fill a small room. I believe they are expecting thousands at this event.

Just because people have a right doesn't make it right.

Stop defending hate. These folks are dangerous.

Good Hopefully if they do promote violence, they won't be invited back next year. I still believe there's a law or two forbidding that.

We need to learn from Britain's mistakes.

Not funny really, since radical Islamist groups such as this would control every human being in the country through torture and murder if they didn't surrender to them, as they well have demonstrated elsewhere in the world. What is not cool, is that these inhuman 'bastads' have so many supporters in the USA and around the world.

I am not going to be able to sleep tonight

Tuinol....ask your doctor for tuinol...you'll sleep like a log!!!!!!

This is what scares me about these groups recruiting here.(Besides death and destructuon) Aside from Maggie the leftist naysayers cobtinuously say "bullshit" or "who cares?" As I've stated before, isn't there anything that the left and right can agree upon? Can't radical extremism be rejected by all Americans? Or have we become that divided that even a couple terror attacks on US soil be acceptable to some in the name of "tolerance" and political correctness. I just don't understand the apologists. Please please please look at London.

I certainly don't like to have to tolerate Islamic extremism in our own country, but with that particular religion, it's very hard to separate out those who are extremists and those who just want a peaceful existence.

So...by that train of thought, we should allow all of them, even those with ties to questionable organizations or include jihadists among their members, to gather and recruit... and then just hope and pray that they AREN'T the bad guys...

I think I get where you're coming from. And I'm very pleased to say that I don't come from there.

Well, let's see. We have a group that by the evidence presented is going to try to convert enough people to Islam that they can take over the nation, by whatever means, and impose Shariah Law. Well, yes, if that is their stated aim, they need watching.

However, if they ever have even a few thousand hangers on, let alone dedicated members, in this nation, I would be very surprised. Even the well funded Bund did not go over well here, and it was far more in line with the reasoning of the people in those times that were on the same wavelength as our present teabaggers.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is one of the group's most famous alumni, New Statesman journalist Shiv Malik reported, citing intelligence sources. In addition to plotting the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, he also is implicated in the World Trade Center bombing of 1993, the Bali nightclub bombings and the murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.

Malik's report, the public policy institute the Nixon Center and the counter-extremism think tank the Quilliam Foundation agree that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who was the leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq until he was killed in June 2006, also was once a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir.

They say other former members include Asif Muhammad Hanif, a British man who blew himself up outside a bar in Tel Aviv, killing four people (including himself) and wounding more than 50; and Omar Bakri Mohammed, a radical cleric currently banned from Britain who praised the 9/11 attacks, raised funds for Hezbollah and Hamas and called for attacks on the Dublin airport because U.S. troops transfered there on their way to Iraq.

Segal said Hizb ut-Tahrir is becoming more active online in the U.S. — particularly on social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace — and now it may be able to add a significant number of Americans to its ranks.

Hizb ut-Tahrir's official ruling on the permissibility of hijacking planes says, "If the plane belongs to a country at war with Muslims, like Israel, it is allowed to hijack it, for there is no sanctity for Israel nor for the Jews in it."

Click here to read the full ruling (pdf).

And one of the organization's more recent leaflets, published in March, calls for the declaration of "a state of war against America."

Click here to read the leaflet.

But, despite these threats and calls to action, Hizb ut-Tahrir remains off the State Department's terror watch list, and it is free to host the Khilafah Conference and any other event like it.

"In other parts of the world where they're really very active, they've drawn tens of thousands of people to some of their events," Segal said.

What's interesting in this article from last year was that they originally planned to have it at an Islamic school auditorium. When the ISLAMIC SCHOOL found out what they were up to, they backed out. They seem to have more sense and integrity than the Marriott.

It's that pesky First Amendment thingie. Perhaps you should read the entire Constitution, not just the Second Amendment.

In Sharia, non-Muslims are forbidden to proselytize among Muslims. But it is supposed to be legal to do so in the United States, even in Dearborn, Michigan.

An update on this story -- the next day.

6th Circuit Court of Appeals overturns lower court's ruling prohibiting Christians from distributing leaflets at Dearborn Arab-American festival - Jihad Watch

I received this note from David Wood of Answering Muslims:

Muslims threatened to kill Nabeel and me if we showed up again at Arab Fest in Dearborn, so we went there yesterday. They didn't kill us. Instead, police arrested us and we got to spend a night in jail (along with two others who were video recording us). Interesting city. I feel a documentary coming on. Title: "Welcome to Dearborn."
Is it now illegal to preach Christianity in Dearborn

Hizb ut-Tahrir is not connected to al-Qa'idah or to any other organization. Also, this isn't news. Hizb ut-Tahrir has always been clear about its intentions; they have a fairly comprehensive draft constitution for their "Islamic State" posted on their website.

Can you provide any example of a violent act committed or believed to be committed by Hizb ut-Tahrir?

Not yet
Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami (Islamic Party of Liberation)

The group has never been overtly involved in any violent actions, and Hizb ut-Tahrir has long claimed it wants to achieve its objectives through nonviolent means. It has so far not been involved in any known terrorist activities. One of the most secretive fundamentalist Islamic organizations, it remains a radical organization. Hizb ut-Tahrir is not against violence as such. It is just against the use of violence now. But they still think jihad [holy war] is a positive concept.

(If there are twenty steadfast persons among you, they will overcome two hundred, and if there be a hundred steadfast persons, they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve.)

The Ayah says, one Muslim should endure ten disbelievers. Allah abrogated this part later on, but the good news remained. `Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak said that Jarir bin Hazim narrated to them that, Az-Zubayr bin Al-Khirrit narrated to him, from `Ikrimah, from Ibn `Abbas, "When this verse was revealed,

[إِن يَكُن مِّنكُمْ عِشْرُونَ صَـبِرُونَ يَغْلِبُواْ مِاْئَتَيْنِ]

(If there are twenty steadfast persons among you, they will overcome two hundred...) it became difficult for the Muslims, when Allah commanded that one Muslim is required to endure ten idolators. Soon after, this matter was made easy,

[الَـنَ خَفَّفَ اللَّهُ عَنكُمْ]

(Now Allah has lightened your (task)), until,

[يَغْلِبُواْ مِاْئَتَيْنِ]

(they shall overcome two hundred. ..)

Allah lowered the number [of adversaries that Muslims are required to endure], and thus, made the required patience less, compatible to the decrease in numbers.'' Al-Bukhari recorded a similar narration from Ibn Al-Mubarak. Muhammad bin Ishaq recorded that Ibn `Abbas said, "When this Ayah was revealed, it was difficult for the Muslims, for they thought it was burdensome since twenty should fight two hundred, and a hundred against a thousand. Allah made this ruling easy for them and abrogated this Ayah with another Ayah,

[الَـنَ خَفَّفَ اللَّهُ عَنكُمْ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ ضَعْفاً]

(Now Allah has lightened your (task), for He knows that there is weakness in you...)

Thereafter, if Muslims were half as many as their enemy, they were not allowed to run away from them. If the Muslims were fewer than that, they were not obligated to fight the disbelievers and thus allowed to avoid hostilities.''
