In my opinion, Mayor Emanuel is just a typical liberal. He is not an idiot.

He feels that he needs to speak a certain way to please various groups if he wants to be able to finish his term in office.

When President Trump offered help to stem the horrific violent crime in Chicago, the Mayor naturally rejected it.

It is very sad that the Mayor would rather be politically correct than to stop the murders in Chicago.
