Norfolk Southern said Wednesday it had hoped to join government officials at a town hall to update the East Palestine community, but after consulting with local leaders, it won't due to a growing physical threat. "We know that many are rightfully angry and frustrated right now. Unfortunately, after consulting with community leaders, we have become increasingly concerned about the growing physical threat to our employees and members of the community around this event stemming from the increasing likelihood of the participation of outside parties," the company said in a statement."


What are they talking about? The likelihood of participation from outside parties? Is he referring to the Deep State? I doubt that N&S's lawyers wanted them there due to the clean-up expense/lawsuit exposure that they already have.
