Excuse my cynicism------does that "cease fire" thing refer to BOTH SIDES?

how many people have those 'savages' killed?

those savages have lobbed hundreds of bombs into areas in which
civilians live-----that fact makes them savages. albeit ---inept savages.

those savages have lobbed hundreds of bombs at civilians----and made
no provision at all for the protection of their own children against RETURN FIRE
---that fact makes those savages bloody murderers.
A simple hole in the ground can act as a bomb shelter----
-as can the hundreds of tunnels that cross the borders of that
land of savages.

Israeli Radio, Channel 2 and 10, report the planned ceasefire to start tomorrow morning at 6:00 AM, to be set not after 18:00.

--------------

Absurd.

Israel will have achieved a lot if a ceasefire takes place, the rocket capability has been neutralized and greatly diminished.
Hamas has not achieved one credible counter attack and the goal of restoring quiet for some considerable time has probably been achieved.

The alternative would have been a ground invasion, with a possible Israeli occupancy necessary ... there would have also been the possibility that a worse terrorist group than Hamas , such as ISIS, would have taken over and created even more mayhem and anarchy.....

x2. Quite a possibility. But I must agree in part with Lipush. Why stop now? Why not totally neutralize the ability to fire rockets? Perhaps it is because the Zionists wish to leave Hamas with a tiny7 bit of dignity . . . . in the hopes that they may learn a lesson and actually come to a long lasting peace.

OK, I know. :cuckoo::lol::lol::D:cuckoo::eusa_liar:

Aw shit...wipe the Muslims fuckers off the face of the earth.
Cease fires never work.

Hamas already informed Israel it refuses to the ceasefire.

We'll see how it rolls from here.

World Cup over now they turn on the second hobby, watch Israel war crimes, so Bibi made a smart move declaring it now, like a commercial break.

According to the latest I can find, that is true,

But as the US, the Arab League and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas all welcomed the ceasefire proposal, Hamas’s armed wing rejected the plan, threatening to “intensify” its conflict with Israel if truce terms were unsatisfactory.

“No official or unofficial side has approached us about the ceasefire talked about in the media… (but) if the contents of this proposal are true, it is a surrender and we reject it outright,” the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement.

Earlier, spokesman Fawzi Barhum saying the group would not accept a truce without a fully-fledged deal to end hostilities.

“A ceasefire without reaching an agreement is rejected. In times of war, you don’t cease fire and then negotiate,” he told AFP.

He said Hamas had not received any official proposal and that “the weapons of the resistance are a red line.”

How can they claim to have a ceasefire "agreement" when one side is left out of the talks?

He has to do what the Americans tell him too

Egypt stood between the negotiations nominating mutual ceasefire, Hamas refused.
Israel's security cabinet accepted the Egyptian proposals at a meeting on Tuesday morning, the Reuters news agency reported. But the al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, earlier appeared to reject the text, calling it "an initiative of kneeling and submission" and declaring the battle would continue
The Guardian
el-Sisi said he is worried but definitely refuse to help Hamas, and he only concerned about the civilians caught between.
Netanyahu agreed for the ceasefire.
I quote Ismail Haniyah "We are in important stage of defeating the "occupier" "...Hiding the bunker and living is a very important stage haha!
Like those who support Hamas, never admit they are wrong,well..that kind of ignorance kill people Billo...Really..

You could thank Hamas for that.

Members of Hamas are wanted in Egypt for commiting crimes against Egyptian civilians. So A-Sisi is less than enthusiastic to invite some of them to the table to talk.

They don't ask them, they factually enforce a ceasefire. Israel agrees because it doesn't look to continue this war. Hamas wishes to continue because it is frustrated it couldn't kill Jewish kids in this war.

He basically said, not in these words, but in a way that could not be understood the other way- "cease the fire now, Hamas, or else Israel will kick your ass, and not only we won't stop them, but cheer your demise".

Now, Hamas is isolated. Egypt hates them, Iran is of no use to them, they have no money.

I'd say, refusing the ceasefire is really stupid.

But since when Hamas was known for its wisdom?

There is no moral high ground in forsaking the southerner Israelis.

The right wings care about 1.5 people in the south, that is why they reject the idea of Israeli one-sided ceasefire.

Hopefully, after getting the draft that Hamas is unwilling to stop the agression, Israel will continue fighting them.
