The evidence continues to mount that liberals are lying about everything. The numbers are pretty astounding (and sad):

Anyone who owns a calculator, if they know how to use one could see that.
Unfortunately it takes a link to the CBO report for some to see, and yet the hackery will continue and the parroting will ensue
Shares? Who pays besides the wealthy?

Apparently, you didn't click the link.
The top 1 percent pays well over its fair shareit pays a much larger share of taxes (22.3 percent) than the share of income it earns (13.3 percent)as does the full top 20 percent. Meanwhile, the bottom income groups pay a much smaller share of taxes than their share of income: The bottom 40 percent earned 14.9 percent of income but paid just 4.1 percent of federal taxes.
Shares? Who pays besides the wealthy?
I do, and I'm far from wealthy.

The information on the link is absolutely meaningless. What is reflected is nothing more than the fact that we have a progressive tax scheme, whereby portions of income at higher levels incur higher taxation rates. The phenomenon that is seen in the graph is that higher tax brackets pay a higher portion of taxes, than the portion of income they earn, while lower brackets pay a lower share of taxes than the share of income they earn. THAT IS GOING TO BE TRUE BY THE VERY NATURE AND DEFINITION OF A PROGRESSIVE TAX SYSTEM. Even if the income tax rate for the lowest tax bracket was 5%, and the highest tax bracket was 10%, the same phenomenon would be observed. It's a tautological correlation.
Is there anyone here that didn't know that about our tax system?

Again, that is a tautological consequence of a progressive tax system that taxes higher brackets at higher rates. Even if we only had two brackets, with a dividing line at $80,000, and the difference between rates was that the higher bracket paid 1% more, the higher bracket would always be paying a greater share of the tax burden than the share of income that they receive.
