Funny I don't remeber reading anything about any "Catholics" in the book of Acts, which gives us the history of the Christian church, not to mention the fact that Catholic dogma, doctrine and theology is either directly contridicted by, or directly contridicts, the Word of God, which is the guide book for Christianity, more times than can be counted. The papist church of Rome was not just an offshoot, it was an aspostate offshoot, the reformation was a return to the truths of Christianity, it was taking back the Bride of Christ from the demons that had hijacked the Lord's simple messages of Sola scrpitura and Grace alone through faith alone. No need for some dude sitting in his magic chair and telling the world that because he sat in his magic chair his words supersede the Word of God.

Hmm, do you know what the word reform means? Reform- to induce or cause to abandon evil ways, and the way the Reformation handled that, was to RETURN the faith to the word of God ALONE and away from the apostacies that the papists were following because popes sat in their magic chair and made commandments that were NOT in the bible and told their followers they had to believe these things because the pope is God's voice on earth and when he speaks in his magic chair (Ex-Cathedra), he is infallible. That is blasephamy plain and simple and the reformers fought to correct that, and other blasphamies the catholic church was teaching. When you read your bible, and as a former catholic myself until I read and studied it, I know you're discouraged from reading it, you will see that the Authority for man to reform the church is given man by God. We are ordered, by God, to weed out false teachings and false doctrines that seep into His church. The list of false doctrines, and apostate teachings, not to mention the things it teaches as God's truth that are not found anywhere in God's word, that the catholic church pushes is a long, long one.

Here's but a short list of some of the things the church of Rome teaches as truth, that cannot be found in the bible and if they are being taught by the papists, yet not found in God's word, who exactly is it that is changing God's church?

The oldest Christian religion are the Copts who predate the Catholics by several hundred years. The Greek Orthodox Church predates Catholicism too.

The only "religion" God recognizes is the taking care of widows and orphans and resisting evil. James 1:27. The oldest Christian church/religion/faith is that found in the book of Acts, which is God's version of Church history and many of the things found in both the Coptic church and the Greek orthodox church are nowhere to be found in God's church as described in the Book of Acts, or anywhere else in the Word of God for that matter. So your assertion that both are older than the catholic church on means both the Coptic church and the Greek orthodox church have veered from the teachings of the Word of God, and have followed the word of man longer than the catholics have. All three of these "relgions" teach doctrines of demons according to the bible.

Some catholics go to heaven, but accordiing to the bible, which is the ONLY authoritive work on who goes to heaven, any catholics that place their trust in their priests, the catholic church, their own works, the pope, or the sacraments to enter heaven are going to be quite surprised when they meet Jesus and He tells them, " ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness".

Up until Vatican II, only Catholics could get to heaven. At that time Catholics decided that they would let Protestants in. This happened in 1965. Civil Rights Law passed and allowed blacks to sit at lunch counters and Vatican II passed which allowed protestants to get into heaven. But nobody is kidding ......Protestants are still second class citizens in heaven
They just seem to lack the basics needed to be fully accepted into heaven. Its not so much that you are discriminated against, its just that you are not full Christians
