Yep selective memory is a wonderful when it comes to WMDs and Iraq yes Bush was wrong but so were many other's both Republican and Democrat.Instead of everyone trying to rewrite history how about just growing up and admitting you got it wrong making a mistake does not make you evil or a liar it just makes you human.

Hey brother, don't you think that words "wrong" and "mistake" are too soft? Thousands american soldiers died for this "mistake". Thousands iraqi children and women died for this mistake. It was not a mistake it was a crime against humanity. And we payed for it.
It's fucking easy to say "I was wrong" or "it was a mistake".

It's also wrong to say someone lied or mislead the nation with no true proof equally wrong is to pretend like Bush was the only one who thought this.

Perhaps those members of congress who voted for the authorization of war should also be held accountable for the Iraq war..... how we ended in Iraq when the terrorists who bombed us were not from Iraq is beyond me. I never bought it..ever... perhaps I should have voted.

You are absolutely correct. Bush and Co. put on a real strong sales effort to close the deal that we needed to attack Iraq.

Most Americans knew that they were being sold a bill of goods. But still, after 9/11, when the POTUS gets on TV and sells the country on the act of war, a lot of people are going to be buying what the President is selling. And it was a great sales effort. Multiple salesmen covering different "buyers" all spreading the same message.

Proof again that with the right circumstances, with the right salesman, some people will buy almost anything being sold.
Including the unwarranted invasion of a country that didn't attack us.

But I will say one thing about their efforts. It was masterful. Full of lies and deceit but presented in such a way that it was ALMOST believable.

And now there is a whole lot of people with buyers remorse. For being made to look stupid.
