Good news from Helena, Montana. Kudos to the city for removing a reminder of racism. The fountain was donated by the Daughters of the Confederacy. It is gone now. Helena, Montana, removes Confederate memorial

Century old fountain finally caused enough problems to be removed...

Confederate traitors wanted to start a town in Montana named "Varina" in the name of Jefferson Davis' slutty wife. A Judge responded that he'll be damned if they name a town after the First Lady of the confederacy and the town was instead named Virginia.

So even during the Civil War, people were condemning anything that honored the Confederacy.

All the people bent out of shape on the removal of these statue need to just start a go-fund-me account to build a huge museum in say Mississippi to house all of these statues as they are being removed.

Generally if something is really important to people they will put their money where their mouth is. Call it the Confederate Monuments Museum or whatever other name is appropriate. House all these statues there so all these people can go visit them and take selfies.
