Maybe...but garlic butter pasta (usually linguine) is awesome.

I suspect this will be equally good.

BUT...you might be right.

I'm hoping a little pasta water will emulsify the oil and make a nice butter sauce.

Sounds worth trying. Think the recipe called for a whole stick of butter.

The secret is in cooking it right.

Lots of expensive ingredients don't go near as far with a bad cook as a few simple ingredients can go with a great chef.

Freshwater pan fish (caught fresh) doesn't to any great degree.

I read someplace where a guy started cooking fish outside in a dedicated air fryer with good results.
