Would a woman doctor at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital have been shot and killed, if New York City had not been one big gun-free zone ? If the killer, Dr. Henry Bello, knew that guns were in the pockets of doctors, nurses, technicians, and patients, would he have had less confidence of being able to do what he did ?

Maybe if this nut had to worry that someone might stop him cold, as soon as he showed the rifle he had, how might have decided that his chances were not good enough. And maybe a life would have been saved, and others wouldn't be fighting for theirs right now.

How do we know this.....from actual mass public shooters who left notes or statements, or from the actual shooters captured after the attack......the Sandy Hook shooter.....attended all three schools in that town, but targeted the grade school because it didn't have a police liaison officer. The S.C. Church shooter...wanted to target a university...but they had armed security. The Colorado theater shooter.....wanted to target an airport, but they had too much security..so he chose the theater that had a gun free zone policy. The Santa Barbara sorority shooter wanted to target an open street fair but was afraid there would be too many police......mass shooters who plan these killings 6 months to 2 years in advance are not looking for a gun fight......they are looking to get a high body count......

And before the anti gunners point out the black lies matter shooter in Dallas....he specifically wanted to murder police officers.....

As to your stupid point about cops and secret service.....guns don't promise victory...they give you the ability to fight back...and striking from ambush is an advantage made worse for the victim when morons like you take away their guns......considering the number of people who survive being ambushed by criminals...but winning because they have guns.

And another thing......Americans use guns 1,500,000 times a year to actually stop violent attacks and they save lives doing it....this is according to bill Clinton and Batak Obama....those people had guns and those people stopped attackers and you can bet those attackers didn't call them out to the street at high noon....they were attack, often through an ambush...

Gun free zones allow killers to kill until the police arrive 3 minutes later........Sandy Hook was over in 5 minutes and the police didn't even enter the building until after he stopped shooting......

And what stopped him from shooting and killing more people? He decided to stop. That's it. If he hadn't decided to stop and commit suicide, he could have kept shooting people....until the cops arrived. Had there been people on scene with guns, they could have stopped him.....or at least slowed him down..had he decided to kill more people......

FALSE! In the July 2002, jihad attack in LAX, the terrorist Ahmed Mohammed Hadayet was stopped cold by being shot to death. He had already shot.killed 2 people, but he was armed with hundreds of rounds of ammunition & 2 pistols. and the airport was jammed packed with people. Had the gun not been there to stop him, it would have been a bloodbath that would have made the Pulse club look minor.
