Silly ... Luke had been drinking

Fox News – A British teenager who sent an e-mail to the White House calling President Obama a “pr*ck” was banned from the U.S. for life, The Sun reported Monday.
The FBI asked local cops to tell college student Luke Angel, 17, that his drunken insult was “unacceptable.”
Angel claims he fired off a single e-mail criticizing the U.S. government after seeing a television program about the 9/11 attacks . He said, “I don’t remember exactly what I wrote as I was drunk. But I think I called Barack Obama a pr*ck. It was silly — the sort of thing you do when you’re a teenager and have had a few.”
Angel, of Bedford, in central England, said it was “a bit extreme” for the FBI to act. “The police came and took my picture and told me I was banned from America forever. I don’t really care but my parents aren’t very happy,” he said.
A Bedford Police spokesman confirmed they had spoken to Angel about the e-mail. Officers will take no criminal action.
Joanne Ferreira, of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, said there are about 60 reasons a person can be barred from visiting America.
She said, “We are prohibited from discussing specific cases.”

You know, it's one thing when an American calls the President a prick, but it's entirely different when a citizen from another country does it... That limey fuck... :D

It's like when you pick on your brother or sister, it's okay if you do it but GOD forbid if someone else starts in...

But what does this mean to our immigration status?

Can we ban people from the US for life if they enter illegally????

I'm betting that if he said "Americans are Pricks" instead of calling Barack a prick that he wouldn't have been banned for life.

I'm not buying it. There has to be more to this than merely calling the President a prick.

I have to agree. Unless BO really is the thinnest skinned bastard ever born.

I find it very unlikely that Obama personally had anything to do with this at all.

Yeah? And I wouldn't have bet that the douchebag would have commented on something as stupid as the cop/professor situation , especially without knowing all of the facts, but he did.

Face it, Obama is a pussy and doesn't like people talking badly of him.

It's more likely that Obama commented on that due to the fact that the Professor was his friend.

But this is an FBI issue - which the President really has nothing to do with.

You really don't think that Obama has anything to do with the FBI? I mean really?

I call bullshit. If Obama was a pussy and didn't like people speaking badly of him, he's sure as shit been taking a lot of crap from the GOP and Rushing LimpIdiot, Beck, Palin, Boehner, etc.

Nope......there's gotta be more to the story than that. Wonder if he said he was gonna do something bad to him, otherwise why did the FBI get involved?

I already agreed, I think there is more to this than he just called the guy a prick, or I pray there is.

I'm sure he has a lot to do with the FBI as a whole.

I sincerely doubt that he has anything to do with the day-to-day investigations.

Then you don't understand the simple fact that the POTUS receives daily briefings from the Director of the FBI.

There's something screwy about this story. It seems the local cops - bobbies - or whatever - Scotland Yard, would be acting on behalf of the US, particularly if there was threatening language. When does the FBI go to a foreign country to take pictures over something like this. Isn't The Sun the equivalent to our National Inquirer?

Sounds like pretty petty stuff to get all that excited about.

Well, it's nice to know those E-mails are being read. I've sent off a couple that weren't too nice. In fact, I Pleaded with him to do the right thing and resign but, I never called him any names.

If all that kid did was call him a prick, then the ban is ridiculous. There has to be more to it. Obama is the most thin skinned PRICK of a president this great country's ever seen but, I can't see him being that thin skinned. Now, those around him who are riding his coat tails for a job may be that thin skinned to do so. But I don't believe he would pull some BS like that. He knows the backlash would be huge had he ordered something so ridiculous. There has to more to it. Or one of his cronies pulled the trigger.

No, I'm pretty sure that that falls into the category of "as a whole". I doubt that briefing covers everything the FBI does (if it did, it would certainly take up all of the President's time) - and I highly doubt the comments of a drunk British kid would make it into the briefing, let alone be an issue that the President would weigh in on.

Petty is at Obama's Pay Grade.
