Brie Larson, stand up for what you believe, step down from Capt. Marvel, let minority have it....

Ummm, you kids know this is just a movie, right?

Itā€™s not about the movie. Itā€™s about all these asshole groups thinking they deserve roles for the color and sexual orientation.

A few people signed a petition, don't get yer panties in a wad.

It's a movie. If you don't like it vote with your feet and don't go. Judging by how much money its making most people like it.

Iā€™m not complaining about the movie. I saw it and liked it. It starts out with a few people signing a petition and then it goes viral.

Yep....Brie Larson is too white for her role, and since she is also a SJW, she can put her mouth where the money is.......and step down from her role as Capt. Marvel...giving up the role, the fame and the money so a more deserving gay, person of color female can have the role.....Brie can become a server at Starbucks to show her solidarity with the SJW code.....

SJWs Demand That Brie Larson Be Replaced as Captain Marvel by a Gay Woman of Color
Makes you wonder why Marvel skipped over the black version of Captain Marvel for the blond white chick in the first place?

Why? Because it fits in with the whole infinity gauntlet story line... and if you saw the movie, they already have set up Monica Rambeau to eventually become Captain Marvel.
No it doesnā€™t. Captain Marvel didnā€™t even need to be in the gauntlet storyline at all.

Yes, it does. Carol Danvers received her powers from the Tesseract (Space Stone), and it helped bring the Kree and Skrulls into the current MCU which is going to be a major plot point in phase 4.

And in Hollywood, women are still considered second class no matter what race they are, when compared to male leads.

Mark Wahlberg was paid 1,500 times more than Michelle Williams for All The Money in the World reshoots
A plot point they shoehorned into her story. That is not how she got her powers in the comics.

And in the comics she wasnā€™t even in the gauntlet storyline.

For the first half of the on screen version ( Infinity war) she was never even heard of. And the second half ( Endgame) she was shoehorned into the story and anything she did could have been done by other characters. Again.. not necessary to the storyline.

Wasn't Captain Marvel a man? So they already replaced a man with a woman but that's not enough, she has to be lesbian and black, too?
Brie Larsonā€™s version is something like the 7th reboot of the character.

Not a popular comic book character. Unlike say...Wonder Woman.

Donā€™t you know? She may be white, but she knows whatā€™s best for the other women, even ones of color. She wants to direct and star in an all-female Avengers team, even though her directorial debut ā€œUnicorn Storeā€ was so bad no company would distribute it. It wasnā€™t until Captain Marvel came out that Netflix picked it up and pushed it on streaming to ride the coattails of Marvel.
And then Netflix actually went after a critic personally for Brie Larson....running them off social media.

Talk about thin skinned( not to mention white privilege.

White privilege my ass. Stop your whining moron.

Yes. White privilege. She has been protected against any criticism by Netflix,Disney,Marvel,Rotten Tomatoes and the entertainment media.

Take your whit privilege shit and shove up your ass. Itā€™s bullshit. White privilege doesnā€™t exist anymore in this country.

She was essential in tying phase 3 and 4 together and introducing the Kree and Skrulls to the MCU. In the MCU very rarely do the movies match the exact Marvel story line, but is close enough for it to make sense. Captain Marvel also helped tie in the Star Force, Ronan the Accuser, and Korath the Pursuer to Guardians of the Galaxy... It all serves a purpose and isn't just thrown in as a token role.

Captain Marvel wasnā€™t needed to establish anything in the Guardians of the Galaxy. Guardians of the Galaxy told their own story.

All Captain Marvel did was diminish the Guardians of the Galaxy storyline by painting Ronin as a weak villain and not a threat by having this idiot so over powered she destroyed his whole fleet single handedly and didnā€™t break a sweat.

The whole ending fight scene in Captain Marvel was stupid and cartoonish.

No, Captain Marvel helped give a greater backstory to characters in GotG, and also helped tie them into the current MCU. This is going to go on all night if you can't grasp the totality of things and keep arguing single points. You can't see the forest for all the trees.

Ronan was pretty weak until he got the power stone... to think he could stand toe-to-toe with a being given powers from one of the infinity stones would be quite silly.

She is. She was great in the Fast and Furious movies as well. She was good in Justice League.

In any of the other reboots did the Captain become a woman? I just know about them from the movies.

There has been 7 different Captain Marvels, three of them have been women. The only thing changed in the movie was that Mar-Vell was a woman instead of a man.

Yes... because Captain Marvel presented the backstory to the Star Force, who Ronan was and why he did what he did in GotG... and

INTRODUCED THE KREE AND SKRULL WAR INTO THE MCU.

HELLO??? Introducing the Kree and Skrull into the MCU in Catpain Marvel allows Disney a wide range of villains that can be introduced in Phase 4, like Kang the Conqueror, or the Secret Wars story arc.

Doesnā€™t change the fact that Captain Marvel was a poorly written and executed movie that rewrote dialogue and plot points from previous movies ...like The Winter Soldier ...for no reason at all and those rewrites were contrived and added nothing of value to any of the storylines. She was not needed in Endgame and she added nothing of value to it either. Brie also has zero chemistry with the other Avengers and basically zero personality in a sea of superheroā€™s that are more interesting and have more like ability and charm.

She Is this big bad ass ( allegedly) but didnā€™t help save NY...or help defeat Ultron or fight in Infinity War, but now TOTB are going to half assed throw her into Endgame just because.

You just proved you don't know near as much as you think you do. It is quite clearly explained why she wasn't on Earth until Fury paged her. There is an entire galaxy out there that needs defenders, many of which do not have people on them like the Avengers. That would be like saying Green Lantern has no place in and future DC movies because he wasn't helping the JL fight Steppenwolf or Doomsday, despite the fact that Lanterns are tasked with helping to defend an entire section of the galaxy.

She didn't cause them to rewrite parts of the Winter Soldier, as a lot of the action shown in Endgame was things that was never shown in the movies. You also can't grasp the idea of moving from one phase to another in the MCU, where characters are needed to transition the franchise.
