On a hill
Yes there is another thread on this, however that thread was long ago taken over and is now a platform for others to call each other racist.

So...I watched the video and found it unremarkable. No "holy cow"...no "election ending evidence" of any kind.
It is a video that shows yet again Mr. Obama associated with a more extreme leftist. And this is nothing new. Obama was afterall a political activist in Chicago...and no matter what side your are an activist for - you are by definition an extremist to even get there. Middle of the road people never become successful activist.
He was elected in 2008 with clear evidence of odd associations, and just another association is not going to change one persons mind.

The major concern for me was the admission that certain individuals took steps to ensure the video didn't come out before Obama's election in 2008. Why would they do that? Kind of makes me wonder what else they hid from the American People... and why they would want to hide things in the first place.

Yeah it's nothing new except the part where the professor admitted to purposely omitting the embrace for obvious reasons. I think it was a bigger deal more for not what was in the tape itself but it is evidence of how in the tank the media is for him. It's scary how, not dishonest, but eager they are to keep most of the truth away from the public to get this guy elected. Very scary.

Scarier than an election hingeing on the results of a state governed by a candidate's brother? We survived that even though it sounded very "third world". Call me and tell me what happens after eight years. If it's not the usual, then I'll worry.

It is odd.
The video did little for me. The oddity is why it was:
A) Made out to be earth shattering evidence of something truly surprising...Not.
B) Why it was hidden by his supporters, other than showing that he was obviously well acquainted with the professor.

Obama is a leftist. A video showing his association to another leftist simply reiterates what we already know.
I personally believe Obama and the first lady are two people who deep down believe in socialism and a large central-collective government that owns the means of production.
WHat is REALLY-REALLY interesting is where in the world are the many, many videos of his speeches in Chicago? I thought this is what Breitbart had - a video of the President speaking to a closed group of people and saying something truly damning.
They have to be out there. WHo collected them up and has hidden/destroyed them? As well as how interesting it is that the media never even talks about his years in Chicago.

That's why it was hidden. Most of us are more mature now.

Or the videos simply don't exist. Considering your over-the-top analysis of their political leanings, you're bound to be disappointed, regardless.

I'm sure Breitbart will do their best to vet the president this time around. I expect to learn things we should have learned the first time. I'm sure the Obama media will treat every piece of news about him as being "racist" or will just shrug their shoulder's and play the "that's no big deal" game.

This was described as SHOCKING, ELECTION CHANGING, and an expose. What happened? PBS aired this in 2008, sans hug, I gather. Why Hannity cited as though something BIG was to be shown is the mystery. And Ogletree didn't hide much, nothing but a HUG. If there is MORE to come, it needs to come quick, or Hannity GO to The National Enquirer. Fox is ignoring the story already!

My wife is an activist for substance abuse prevention, is she an extremist?

That is not a political activist. :doubt:
nice try

The two are unrelated. She might be an extremist but not because she is an activist for substance abuse. I disagree that just being an activist makes you extremist.

So, what was newsworthy about Hannity's hyped EXPOSE? All but the hug had been shown before; Hannity's analysis, if you call it, that was GRAVE. Yet FOXNews is ignoring it today.

I guess what would have been more interesting is a video showing the real story on the rather interesting and world class luck that happen to the Obama family after he was elected Senator.
In less than a year Michelle's income rose by a factor of three. She became a board member of two different companies both paying over $100,000 a year for simply attending meetings where she had absolutely ZERO experience in that industry.
Why would a large hospital appoint her as a board member and VP position when she never worked in the medical industry? At that time she only worked part-time in a law office and worked in marketing for a public office, and a brief stint for Univ of Chicago.
Why would an even larger food company appoint her to a board membership - again - zero experience in the food industry...and zero executive experience in manufacturing whatsoever??
They purchased a $million mansion for a quarter for what it was worth.

They had some mighty lofty salaries and gift employment in Chicago.

That's really up to his opponents, isn't it? If those words or actions are used, it doesn't mean they aren't deserved.
