I hope they pass it, and turn the entire generations of younger people against this liberal/progressive (Democrat) INSANITY. They are also going to tax EV's by mileage, so you will get a bill in the mail each year because you aren't paying gasoline taxes. LOL!

They should do that. Gas taxes pay for the roads. EVs use the roads but don't contribute to their upkeep. EVs shouldn't get a free tax ride just because they're politically correct. They use the roads - they pay like everybody else.

You need to learn to read. Pupps' post said that EVs should be taxed to support highway infrastructure since they use it and currently don't financially support it.
