Boys will be boys?

It's "bullying" not rape because it was a boy and not a girl.

I'm not sure the town would have been so quick to rally behind the boys if they had duct taped and anally violated a female student.

cool... then i am sure the coach...and his boys would have no problem with being just "bullied"

Boys will be boys? Boys/men do not commit a forced sexual act on anyone, let alone another male. Bunch of sickos including the townsfolk who supported these sick little pricks and their father.

The school principal urged the child's parents not to report it, the wrestling coach(father of 2 of the attackers) calls it no big deal, happens all over the country every day, the child parents report it anyway.
I wonder what the principal thought about their wishes being ignored by the boy and his family. If the boy was suspended/expelled, the principal should be sued too for making such a move!

God bless you and the boy and his family always!!!

Holly

Read the article...the victim's father WAS the principal....he eventually had to quit and move the family and take a lower paying job.

The world is just plain upside down under liberalism. Kids are escorted off school grounds and suspended for pointing at someone in a way that looks like a gun. They are kicked out of school for wearing a NRA T shirt but unlawful imprisonment, assault and rape are just kids being kids (if the victim is White). My guess is that the education establishment is so desperate to cover up the negligence and potential imprisonment of teachers who apparently ignore or condone criminal behavior that they take the offensive and turn on the victim.

I agree. It both saddens me and sickens me to see how PC and milquetoast-like education and educators have become.

So...you put this on "liberalism"?

Norwood sex assault: Family of boy, 13, who was bound with duct tape and sodomized with a pencil on school wrestling trip is victimized by town after reporting crime | Mail Online

3 boys, ages 16, 15, and 14 duct tape the hands and feet of a 13 year old male student and proceed to rape him with a pencil. They considered it a hazing for their wrestling team.

The school principal urged the child's parents not to report it, the wrestling coach(father of 2 of the attackers) calls it no big deal, happens all over the country every day, the child parents report it anyway.

The 3 attackers get probation, community service and a $2500 fine.

The worst part, the whole town rallies behind the attackers, the boy who was attacked and his family have to sell their home, his father takes a lower paying job and they move 200 miles away.

Wtf?

OMG, this is awful. The wresting coach needs to be fired. He is ignoring bullying and sexual assault. The school principal also needs to be fired for doing the same thing.

I think the parents should file a lawsuit and bring these people to their knees!

Don't you realize, bodecea, everything in the world that is wrong is the fault of liberals, democrats and Obama. Everything that is right is because of conservatives and Republicans.

Truth: this has nothing to do with politics.

The school principal IS the parent of the victim. The school board tried to shut him up on this.

Let's put it this way, we have to agree that the education system promotes liberal agendas both socially and in the classroom. The system is very sensitive about the slightest comment that could be considered a racial slur but there is zero tolerance for supporters of the 2nd Amendment. The issue isn't about sports, it's about the CYA of the left wing education system at the expense of the physical and mental stability of young kids.

Yes. If they were trying to cover this up to protect the sports program than what exactly do you suggest it is?

Idolotry of sports, school sports like wresting, football, etc., is something more common in conservative areas, not liberal areas. Texas is a prime example.

in the small ranching town of Norwood
I'm pretty certain this small ranching town is not a liberal enclave.

No, we do not agree...nor do we have to.

So...explain to us the "liberal" aspect of wrestling coaches, sports teams, hazing, etc.

And explain to us the "liberal" aspect of the School district breaking the law by refusing to report the assault as soon as they found out about it.

Finally, explain the "liberal" aspect of the continuing bullying of this family by the townspeople.

Well, I don't agree with any of that. And definitely not that bullying and sexual assault are part of some liberal agenda. Your persepctive doesn't make any sense; it is totally self serving without any rationality at all.
