For all our debt, we need to look at our assets. We own over one third of the real estate in the US including all related mineral assets. We have the most expensive military in the history of mankind. What does a carrier task force go for these days? We have ten of them. Want to buy the Statue of Liberty? How bout the Grand Canyon?

Reagan tripled our debt and paid over 10% interest on his debt. Obama is paying what? 2% ?

How about our ability to pay? We have the most powerful economic engine on earth. We can pay....we are just too lazy to do so
