Texas will gain four new House seats, and Florida will gain two. Gaining one each are Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, South Carolina, Utah and Washington.

Ohio and New York will lose two House seats each. Losing one House seat are Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Florida will now have as many U.S. House members as New York: 27. California will still have 53 seats, and Texas will climb to 36.

But, while liberals like O’Rouke love to point with great pride to the ‘centers of thinking America,’ it should be recognized how many Americans shun these ‘centers of crime and poverty,’ and, as the great Ronald Reagan said, ‘vote with their feet.’
We need O'Rourke's view on the new census data...

b. Already, suburbanites make up about half of the country's population (while city people make up 28 percent and rural folk make up the rest), and America gets more suburban every year. According to the census data, the suburbs of America's 100 largest metro areas grew twice as fast as their central cities in the 1990s, and that was a decade in which many cities actually reversed their long population slides…. On the downside, deanie says only 6% of scientists live in the suburbs....

We all know this tax issue was a class warfare ruse. Nobody in their right mind wants to payout 40 - 50+ per-cent of their income in taxes. It's idiotic. Look at NY, look at CA, their taxes are some of the highest in the nation; the states are basket cases, literally, people are leaving in droves.
