The Georgia Legislative Black Caucus filed a lawsuit Monday against the state of Georgia seeking to dissolve the city charters of Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, Milton and Chattahoochee Hills. Kang, who has not reviewed the case in its entirety, said the plaintiffs will likely have to show evidence of discriminatory purpose to have a strong claim. I find it amazing that when blacks self segregate, the Left calls this a step in the right direction. When whites do the same, the Left calls this discrimination and lending institutions are accused of "red lining"..\
What really is shocking other than the utter stupidity of this idea is that the towns in question have black populations that EXCEED the proportion of the total population of other communities in Metro Atlanta. I think these black legislators are just pissed off because these areas now incorporated and chartered towns cannot be annexed into the City of Atlanta.
If I lived in one of these places I would be giving these black legislators a big fat

The only fair thing to do would be for the richest white family to trade homes with the poorest black family.The white wife will have to stay behind of course to do the cleaning and to be available for whatever the head of the family needs getting done.This will attempt to pay back to the black community all the wrongs we white people did with slavery.

Question. How is it that students can be bused to such far flung locations?.
Usually busing was done within unitary school districts.
For example, a neighboring county is one large school district. Before 2000, when a judge ruled segregation was no longer an issue, kids were beinfg bused across the county in order to achieve racial balance. Never in a million years would one district be able to grab kids from another district to make them go to schools there.
So it doesn't make sense for kids "from the valley" to be bused into a city in which they do not reside. Can you explain this a bit further? I am not familiar with California's laws and regulations on this.
