If blacks were serious about making their lives better they would be protesting single motherhood, crime, and high school drop outs.

First, after decades of the war on poverty, generations have been conditioned to waiting for government to do something for them. Sad, but true.

Second, the Dems can count on support from the majority of minorities because of those false promises and they have also conditioned people to think the right is heartless for suggesting that more people start taking responsibility for their own lives.

Since it is impossible to give people a better life, the logical thing to do is start preaching about how people can start building their own lives with assistance as necessary. The left isn't interesting in having that discussion.

When blacks 'go against the grain' and realize that they can do more for themselves than some politician, they are called names like traitor, puppet or Uncle Tom. There seems to be some unwritten rules regarding the way people should talk and act. If they prefer to master the English language, as opposed to Ebonics, or if they reject nanny government then those who trust in the government plantation will treat them like sell-outs. There is this notion that some minorities have decided to "act white" in order to make it in this world. Nothing could be further from the truth. Being truly independent isn't a white thing.

While the left continues to divide by race, the truth is that the only division is between those who accept responsibility and those who don't. There is good and bad. Has nothing to do with color, but as long as the race baiters preach that color is the main quality to consider in people, we won't be united as a country.

I am sick of the left bashing the right for not addressing the needs of Hispanics or blacks. The needs of humans are the same and the responsibilities should also be the same. We have the NAACP criticizing Repubs for talking about jobs instead of about what the government can do for people. Government doesn't create jobs. Government doesn't educate people or prepare them for the future. Government has been good at encouraging people to count on them in lieu of educating themselves or seeking gainful employment, then bash others when people fail to succeed. Racism has become the go-to excuse for many failures. It's not about color, it's about individuals and their own ambitions and desire to achieve the life they want. Government's role is to ensure a level playing field, not tilt it or take people under their wing permanently. It just serves to render people more helpless and we aren't seeing improvement with each new generation because the same misplaced faith in government is being passed down, along with hatred and a false belief that color prevents people from succeeding. Obama and all the Dems continue to tell people that they are the answer even though decades of failure have proven otherwise. It's because government is taking on a role that it's not qualified for and it's counterproductive.

It's understandable to see confusion on the part of some minorities who are still waiting for all those promises to be fulfilled by Dems. All that fancy and empty rhetoric was believed by many. It tells me that they don't know how to improve their lives because they haven't learned. In school, students are learning more about wealth redistribution than about wealth creation. It shows. We suffered through outcome based education and now common core. Forget the basics that actually helped students acquire skills to get them through. Now they are taught that they are special for existing and that government will provide. When things go wrong, they blame racism. It's cruel to keep people down by doing things for them instead of letting them learn, sometimes the hard way. No one said it's easy to launch in the real world, but the left acts like even the high school drop out who has made one bad decision after another should never suffer consequences. Political correctness halts any talk of people changing their ways and parents taking their jobs seriously. There are no consequences on the liberal plantation, only excuses and blame for those who had nothing to do with it. Keeps people just where liberals want them. People don't bite the hand that feeds them and there are always promises of more once the left goes after those evil wealthy people.

Some, like the woman in the video, are noticing that many minorities are not at the mercy of government and are doing well because they rely on themselves rather than politicians who have ulterior motives. Shame that the left goes out of their way to prevent people from finding out how it's done.
