Isn’t that what he expects everyone else to do?

No. That's what democrats are telling businesses to do. Trump want to open the country back up.

Not according to his plan he ceremoniously touted. We aren’t ready yet.

Of course, he may not have actually read his own plan. That would fit his character pretty well.

It's even worse than that. He's completely given up taking responsibility for responding to the virus. He's punted the ball to the states. All he wants is is to be able to hold his pep rallies and campaign again. Because that's what he's good at.

What trump and his followers are too stupid to realize is the more they protest and spread that virus, the longer the shutdowns will last. The longer the shutdowns, the worse the economy will become.

This is a false argument. Based on left wing propaganda, the shutdown can not end until a vaccine is created. As a result, the length of the shut downs will entirely depend on when that vaccine is produced.
