Bill Whittle - Racism - Democrats and Republicans switch sides?

Are you suggesting Bill Whittle is a fair and balanced source? lol

If you listen to the OP video the only conclusion you can come to is yes, yes he is a balanced source.

haha, funny.

Simple for you, tell us what he said that wasn't balanced. Or more to the point, what is meant by balanced?

The video is mostly an opinionated commentary piece with little of actual value in the likes of facts or data (the only exception I found was the origination of the word "fascist" which was interesting)

Other then that it's mostly a group of tired cliches (Lincoln freed the slaves, Democrats hated that!....The Nazi's were the national "socialist" party!.....Democrats want to raise taxes so they're greedy!!).....blah blah blah, we've heard it all before. It's just cheap talking points that don't have any relevancy to today's political atmosphere at all.

If you have a video piece with nothing but opinionated commentary and old cliches you can be darn sure it's pretty bias...you might as well base your opinion of political parties off television commercials by the parties themselves.

Isn't all commentary opinion? I see nothing to disagree with his opinion. What is sad is when the left wing, and it happened this week, keep trying to make the case that parties switching, when in fact that never happened and that is the point of the video.

Lincoln did free the slaves.

Democrats had reason to hate the freeing of the slaves and it was not just being hateful it was economic, but as shown they left the Union before Lincoln took office for ONE reason, slavery.

I didn't see the part about democrats wanting to raise taxes but if so that is another subject. His point on socialism is that the left wing is pushing us towards socialism, a system that has neverworked as well as what we have today and is the mainstay of many totalitarian regimes. Do you disagree that liberals, Democrats, are pushing us towards socialism?

The whole switching side BS from the left doesn't fit today's reality either. For it to fit would mean that the left would have to show where the right actually harmed blacks, which is clearly not the case.
Our system today is heavily regulated because it did not work well. Let's worry about this than non-existent socialism that is supposedly nipping at your ass.

Bill Whittle - Racism -...

Yes, he is right. All the Democratic KKK converted to GOP KKK by the early 1990s.
No, senator Byrd stayed democrat.
He changed his ways, actually, and Strom Thurmond became a Republican. When you fib as much as you do, you should write them down for reference, instead of being made to look foolish, like right now.

What he said was correct, what you said was the little lie. First of all Byrd was in the KKK and died a democrat. Here is a list of realitively prominate people who were members of the KKK.

Harry Truman
Joined for political reasons, but joined none the less.

Robert Byrd
Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops
Voted against two black SCOTUS canidates, Marshal and Thomas.

Filibustered the civil rights act

Oh and let us not forget his use of the term "white n...er" on national TV. Apparently those kleagles never change strips.

Died a democrat.

Hugo Black
again another democrat who says he joined for political reasons, here is what he had to say as he laments in his old age his racist past. "I would have joined any group if it helped get me votes."

Theodore G. Bilbo
Democratic United States Senator

Rice W. Means
Republican United States Senator, truth is always my goal, he may have been a member but he wasn't a democrat who became a republican, as far as I can tell.

Bibb Graves Democrat Exalted Cyclops joined for political reasons as do most democrats.

Edward L. Jackson, a Republican and 32nd Governor of Indiana

Clifford Walker democrat 64th Governor of Georgia

George Gordon, a Democratic Congressman, Grand Dragon for the Realm of Tennessee, and wrote its "Precept," a book describing its organization, purpose, and principles.

John Clinton Porter Democratic 33rd Mayor of Los Angeles

Warren G. Harding Republican, alleged to be a member but not completely proven.

David Duke Democrat turned republican is the one sole member on this list that switched sides in 1988. Well after the alleged "southern strategy."

No indication of Thurmon being a member of the KKK and I would say his one daughter is indication that he wasn't exactly a racist. And he did moderate his views once he became a Republican.

Let us also not forget the democrat president that had a viewing of the "Birth of a Nation" formally titled "The Clansmen" by Democrat Woodrow Wilson. This film was responsible for the re-birth of the KKK.

So once again Jake you come up short on the truth.

And it is working so well now, right jake. No matter how one slices it, SS, Medicare, Madicaid, Obamacare are all socialist programs. Are we going to get rid of them, no that will never happen. Until the crash.

Your list means nothing, I told the truth, and the facit is that the Southern Strategy was successful and the KKK that exists today are Republican conservatives. Tough to be you.

Really Jake Rightwinger you need to seek help. You present almost no information that Bryd ever really changed his way, although I agree he did. That does not change the FACT that he was in the KKK and didn't change parties. Mostly all of the KKK was always democrats that is one fact you can not deny. You can say they switched but you have present no proof that they actually did.

Democrats still keep blacks as slaves. Welfare and ghettos. When one gets smart and leaves poverty and the democrat party behind, democrats call them house nig&ers.

And he changed his ways while Thurmond did become Republican and could not even acknowledge his illegitimate black daughter.

What is wrong with you racialists of the far right.

Embrace your darkness, revel in it, because that evil and you will be gone soon enough.
