I meant in comparison to the flight hours logged by F-16s.

The F-16 has been (and will be for the next 5 years or more) the Backbone of USAF for fighters. It's also the most plentiful. But like the F-15A and B, the F-16 had to go through teething problems in the A and B model. The F-35B is like the A model and prone to have teething problems more than the A or C. That will change one day but the B model has more parts to go "Boom" than the A and C so it's going to be the worst of the lot.

But the B model operates off of HeloCarriers. Something the A and C can't do. The B is the replacement of the Harrier, not the F-18. And it has a much better record than the Harrier had. But the mission is "Hairier" (pardon the pun) than the A model flies.

It happens.....a lot since Biden and Obama became POTUS. Obama lost a multi-million dollar Top Secret Drone....that weirdly flew right into Tehran Iran. Now Biden has lost one of our most advanced military air craft.
