Bernie Sanders--the last Republican Hope for the White House

I realize that everyone concedes that the Latino vote is very important, and that Trump won't do well with them.

But, he is likely to make up for that loss with previous Democratic voters, like Union workers in the rotting cities of the north who chaff under 40 or 50 years of Democratic mis-government--in places like Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania. And he is going to do far better than the Mormon Governor of Massachusetts with Evangelicals all across the Heartland....mainly because the Evangelicals are so alarmed about the direction of this country...that they have quit looking for a preacher...so desperate they are willing to embrace Trump while he hollers Pussy and Fuck at them.

And young people, traditionally Democrats because they are still young & foolish...are offended by everything they learn about Mrs. Clinton. Young people make up for being inexperienced by being idealistic...Hillary Clinton has no Ideals...unless avarice and mendacity are Ideals...and the young people see that.

I also find the Latino emphasis difficult to understand. Most Latinos live in 5 states...Texas (they haven't turned it Blue yet)...California, New York & New Jersey, which have all turned Deep Blue (Feeling the Bern Blue) long ago...and lastly Florida. If Trump wins nomination he will likely pick Rubio as his VP.....which should get him Florida...and more Latino votes all around than are currently expected...if it matters. Colorado is the next state where there are a lot of Latinos...and either side can win without Colorado.

In short, the argument that Republicans must get 47%, or any percentage, of Latino votes seems suspicious to me. The majority of them live in Texas, California, New York, and New Jersey---and it doesn't matter what percentage either Party gets in those States.

History, and Stats based on History, may not count anyway. This may be more of a Revolution than an election.

And Trump is doing better than any other GOP candidate in attracting the support of Latino voters...

A new poll confirms it. In the national survey, which was conducted by Beck Research on behalf of the American Federation for Children, 38 percent of Latinos favor Trump. Ted Cruz got 15 percent. Jeb Bush pulled in 14 percent. And Marco Rubio, the guy who’s supposed to be the one who could unite the party and win? Just 8 percent.

No Joke: Trump Can Win Plenty of Latinos

Trump would make Mexicans vote for him and would make them "pay for it" too :D
And then....

Have them build a wall.

Hahahaah, since Mexican government is not paying for it, well, somebody gotta build it.

I bet Trump supporting Mexicans would be "thrilled" to build it, for FREE :D

It looks like Donald Trump is well on his way to win the nomination. He is leading in S.C. by double digits, and he run the south and carry momentum into Super Tuesday.

But the real question is? Can Donald Trump defeat Hillary Clinton, The answer to that is a solid NO. Trump and his supporters have chased off 17% of the population when the GOP nominee has historically needed at least 40% of this block to win the White House. This year they need 46% of this block.
GOP Win Will Need More Than 40 Percent Of Latino 2016 Vote, Says Study
Poll: 75% of Latinos Have Negative View of Donald Trump
Latino conservatives: If Donald Trump is the nominee, we will not work to elect him

Hillary Clinton is going into this race with a 6 to 10 point lead as the 1st woman Presidential nominee in this nations history. Women rule today as the majority voting block. In fact it was they that secured Obama's second term in office--due to the right wing of the party continually campaigning on abortion, who's not going to pay for birth control pills, and what is legal legitimate rape questions.
Gender Gap in 2012 Vote Is Largest in Gallup's History
Why Romney Lost And Republicans Keep Losing
The GOP's woman problem goes beyond Trump

So this math and election history is indicating that Hillary Clinton is going to paint this country blue from sea to shining sea on election night.

Republicans ONLY hope in this race is that BERNIE SANDERS is the nominee for the Democrat party--who would get creamed in a National Election by any GOP candidate. He's a socialist--and this country would never vote for any candidate that was out there campaigning on free college tuition. This country is center, it always has been, it always will be. It will not elect far left or far right candidates. A vote for Bernie Sanders is a vote for Donald Trump.

Isn't this just too cute?

The Democrats, engaged in their OWN civil war, trying to resurrect a shattered unity, in time to do them some good...

And trying to scare-monger their rank-and-file with boogeyman stories of a Republican victory, as the cattle prod...

It's great, when the Younglings come up with imaginative ideas like this, isn't it?

====================================================

The real trouble, Dear Democrats, is that you've got a very shallow pitching 'bullpen' this year...

Your star pitcher is deemed untrustworthy, is close to being indicted by the Justice Department, has long-since sold-out to the very Establishment that The People are rebelling against, and has taken record amounts of money from Special Interests, and is fast becoming un-electable.

To make matters worse, vast numbers of Americans see your one-and-only backup pitcher to be just a notch or two to the right of Vladimir Lenin...

And all of that on top of eight years of the Magic Negro, whose Hope and Change turned into Nope and The Mange...

Two terms of Rule by Imperial Decree are quite enough, thank you...

Sucks to be you, this election season, I'm sure...

Why do you say this? bernie in the polls is beating nearly the entire republican field by twice as much as clinton.

Clinton is a moderate republican of 20 years ago for crying out loud...certainly, she won't cut the shit out of government but she won't do what we need and that can only come Bernie.
^ that

Hillary is Repub lite
Oh no you dont.

This country is center, it always has been, it always be. It will not elect far left or far right candidates. Sanders is so far left he might as well be on Mars. This country would never elect any candidate that is out there campaigning on free college tuition. Bernie Sanders is NOT a Democrat, he is a socialist and recently changed his party status to Democrat to run for POTUS.

Even the most liberal Democrat in Washington D.C. would never vote for free college tuition. If by some very remote miracle Bernie won the Presidency, you would see Republicans & Democrats finally agree on something. They would tie him up, tape his mouth shut and K-hole him in a closet for next 4 years. He would get NO support from any members in the house or Senate, which makes for a Miserable Presidency.

If Bernie Sanders is the nominee-here is your reality. Just move the blue on the below chart over to New Hampshire & Vermont and color the rest of the country RED. A vote for Bernie Sanders is a vote for Donald Trump.

Indeed, the country is Centrist in nature, and typically tends to shy away from the polar extremes.

Then again, this is an Atypical election season, isn't it?

And, of course, there's a first time for everything, isn't there?

Don't look now, but we are in the midst of a Populist Rebellion against so-called 'establishment' Party Ruling Elites, on BOTH sides of the aisle.

You know that, just as well as I do.

This year's questions are: How profound is that rebellion? How deep does it run? How 'radical' are the political rebels on both sides willing to go, in electing a POTUS?

The People are pissed, they've had a bellyful of ruling elites, and false promises of substantive and lasting change, and they want something done about it.

By the look of it, they're taking matters into their own hands, shoving aside the Elites, and serving-up their own candidates; Left and Right.

I suspect that many of our countrymen are fast shifting into a mindset along the lines of: "If we have to get radical for a while, to effect real change, then so be it."

Scary stuff, and, quite possibly, doomed to failure, if the Elites pull a fast one and negate their choice, or if the People's Chosen cannot get anything done, later.

None of which means that The People won't at least TRY to force their will upon the Elites, not does it mean that they should not try.

This seems to be the natural outcome of a decade or more of increasingly bitter polarization; the polar extremes are becoming powerful magnets, pulling the Center apart.

I believe that I recognize your mindset in your latest response; namely: Such a thing could not happen here.

Although it's far too early to say with high confidence, in light of what we see unfolding around us...

I would not be too sure about that 'can't happen here' mindset, holding up under a closer scrutiny and the passage of time and the unfolding of events, this election season.

One way or the other... "interesting times".

you mean adding another level/layer of socialism.

Agreed--the left wing and the right wing finally have something in common. They've both gone bat shit crazy.

They are the minority of both parties--and the candidates they're supporting could never win the White House.

Bernie Sanders doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning the nomination, but Donald Trump--it looks like he is going to do it. The Republican party has shattered into pieces due to right wing Tea Party activism, you have votes going everywhere.

So the RNC puts up 15 male candidates to run against one woman. That's not fear of Hillary Clinton, necessarily--but more the fear of the 1st woman POTUS.--LOL Their "raining men" platform has already collapsed. Right now you have many Republicans stating if Donald Trump is the nominee of the party, they'll vote for Hillary Clinton.

You would have just the opposite effect if Bernie Sanders who is (a dyed in the wool Socialist). Democrats & Republicans would unite to make certain he was never President.

So the only way Donald Trump wins the Presidency is if Bernie Sanders is the nominee of the Democrat party. A vote for Bernie Sanders is a vote for Donald Trump.
