By separation of the country I mean totally. We have our own Congress and they have theirs. We would not work together on anything. Trade? That can be ironed out, but what we need are two completely separate governments, each having their own legislative and judicial branch, and each having their own Constitution which I would suspect the conservatives would keep the one we have now with some minor changes.

That's the point of separation. We are no longer united. After all, how long can a country last when nobody is permitted a firearm, half or more of the people don't work and depend on the government, taxing their industries at 90% like they talk about before the Reagan years. California is the most populated state in the union, and moving up the coast you have liberal Oregon and Washington state. So our dilemma would be choosing between the ultra liberal NE area and the ultra liberal west coast. Hard decision, but taking out garbage was never a fun task.

As I stated, it would have to be an agreement on both sides. But as we also know, liberal policies could never allow a country to survive more than a year or so. PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI/AP) — The price of gas in Rhode Island has skyrocketed over the past few weeks, and local experts say it may continue to rise.

AAA Northeast said its weekly survey found self-serve regular selling for an average of $2.75 per gallon in Rhode Island, up 10 cents from the previous week.

“It’s quite frightening, the gas prices,” Martha Habib of Providence said. “I’ve never seen it so high in a long time.”

AAA said prices are now at a level that hasn’t been seen since the summer of 2015.

“Seems like every day they go up like three or four cents,” Paul Adams of Providence said.

The average price of gasoline in Rhode Island is 40 cents higher than it was one year ago. AAA found gas selling for as low as $2.62 per gallon and as high as $2.99.

AAA said demand is up and inventories of oil and gasoline are down. They expect prices to continue rising.

And given the booming economy it was quite a feat. However Trump has always been pro US energy, and that's why the prices remained low. We were the worlds largest exporter of energy. Under GW and DumBama the economy wasn't nearly as good and we went over $4.00 a gallon. In fact because of the low prices, President Trump bought a shit load of gasoline for our national reserves, and Dementia wasted it to try and look good. It did nothing for the price of gasoline,but what does that matter, right?
