The problem in Chicago is not guns....the problem in Chicago is a justice system at the city level that bitches night and day about gun crime, but then does everything it can to release violent felons back onto the streets ....as in the shooting of the cousin of Dwane Wade........she was shot last week...by 2 career criminals....one of them has 6 felonies, the other also has multiple felonies.....and one of them was a gun charge...both were out on parole....

Anti gunners...don't blame guns....these guys are already prohibited from buying, owning or carrying guns......they had been arrested for felony gun possession....and then released on parole.....

This is a criminal problem in Chicago, not a gun owner problem...

If they had been sent away for 30 years on the gun charge...this woman would still be alive.....

Licensing gun owners would not have stopped this shooting, registering guns for law abiding gun owners would not have stopped this murder....and a universal background check would not have stopped this murder..........

The only thing that works....put them away for 30 years and this woman would still be alive today....

Two men charged in Chicago shooting death of Dwyane Wade's cousin

Derren Sorells was just released from prison two weeks before Friday's shooting. He was convicted in 2012 for a motor vehicle theft and escape from custody, but was released early. He had six felony arrests in his background. His brother Darwin Sorells was also on parole for a felony gun charge. He was sentenced to six years in prison in January 2013 and was released from prison earlier this year.

Police said the suspects were targeting a for-hire driver after exchanging unfriendly glances with the man as he drove in the neighborhood. The two later confronted the driver after he walked two women into their building, according to prosecutors. The driver told police the men menaced him and indicated they had guns. They then chased the driver as he ran away, with at least one of the men firing multiple shots that struck Aldridge.

Golly, they weren't rehabilitated? After six felony arrests? Shocking.

Just another example of a penal system that is overwhelmed, under funded and useless to the communities they serve. No doubt these sorry ass nigga's would still be in jail, had they terrorized and committed crimes against white folk. Bottom line is this, the two are brothers, brought up in a home, clearly void of structure and love. I have said this a zillion times, the dis investment we do to inner city kids today, will come back to harm us all in the future. We can keep cutting funds to help this kids and families all day long, but the end result, will hurt us all

This is a democrat controlled city...top to bottom...every single aspect of the place and it has been for 85 years......democrat prosecutors and judges, not locking these guys up......why? A good place to look is at gang control of aldermen.....the ones who fight actually giving real time to these felons......

The one guy ....was a 6 time illegal gun offender....sentenced to 6 years in 2013.....and was paroled in Feb. of this year.....this is the actual problem...not guns...had he been put in jail for 30 years as a gun offender the first time, this woman would still be alive......but no...the anti gun morons only care about the guns.....

Why Do I Carry? Because Thugs Like These Will Shoot You For Making Eye Contact

Both are repeat gun offenders, Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson confirmed, and both were out on parole at the time of the killing.

Speaking about Darwin, Johnson said he is a six-time weapon offender who was jailed in 2013 for six years for another gun crime but released on parole in February.

Detectives said the shooting occurred Friday when a taxi driver working independently pulled up close to Dulles School of Excellence at around 3pm.

The man, who has not been identified, was transporting a group of women home when he made eye contact with the Sorells brothers out of the window of his car, cops said.

He walked the women into their house, but when he reemerged he found the brothers waiting by his car armed with pistols, detectives say.

Police say the Sorells brothers falsely believed the taxi driver was armed, knew he was from a different area and objected to him being on their turf.

The brothers chased after the driver as he fled the scene on foot, cops say, and began firing at him.

The only things that made these two mutts commit the crimes they did were the choices they made

Funds and funds have been provided to these kids and families. The results are horrendous and your answer is to waste more money.
