Keystone was significant infrastructure. Ethanol increases the cost. Why did he cease the leases in the first place? And, why did he say “We need to reign in the oil companies” and “we are going to end fossil fuels”?So you are saying high oil prices are in retaliation....
So now the US president is meant to bend before the Oil Lobbyists...
Land Leases started again, but the oil companies don't use what they have got already... The Oil companies like the land grab for peanuts...
" increase ethanol requirements" - he actually putting them back to where they were and this means less oil used, not more... He is actually just putting in a requirement which the oil companies use as standard..
As cuts to infrastructure... Think they are building road?
Collectively, all of this sends a negative message to the Markets.
Democrats keep talking about green energy as an alternative. Fine. Bring it on. Problem is, green energy is not ready to replace oil. It is not mature. I’ve never understood why the need to go after the oil companies when an alternative is not ready. That just hurts the economy.
Americans shouldn’t be paying $4-$6 for gas.
