Before the Democrats start spiking the football, taking all of the credit, and standing by their climate change policies not impacting domestic oil prices, let’s look at ALL of the facts:

* US Oil companies have become more production efficient in the face of Biden Administration limiting drilling, exploration, and infrastructure.

  • Demand for Oil is down significantly in China
  • OPEC has not substantially reduced production
  • Willow Drilling Project Alaska - as the article states, the Biden Administration approved this project despite protests from climate activists.

Point being of this post, President Administrations don’t set gas prices but they sure can impact them positively by pushing policies that leave US less dependent on foreign oil. The Biden Administration deserves credit for the Willow drilling project while the Domestic Oil industry deserves the bulk of the credit for getting creative and more efficient in the face of the restrictive policies the Administration pushed back in 2021.

Poopeypants drained the Reserve, someone has to replace it.

It must be election season.

If Biden is re-installed, he’ll announce a new wave of drilling and pipeline bans and stupid EV mandates that will be impossible to fulfill and we will instantly see $5 or higher gas again.

He will announce it and since they will not be any actual laws, they will be ignored just like now.

He doesn’t need laws. The industry is so over-regulated by various Fed agencies which have the power to shutdown or limit production. Then there are the lawfare tactics leftwing organizations use to stop drilling via the courts as well. This is how they stopped drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

And yet there is record production.

Let me get this straight:
  • First you guys post about the impending doom of the oil industry because the US can't possibly produce oil and look for alternatives at the same time because.. well you never say why
  • Now you guys admit that there is no impending doom of the oil industry, and that you admit it is flourishing, but it has nothing to do with Joe Biden keeping an environment conducive for the oil industry to succeed while supporting alternatives.

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha

This thread goes into the hall of fame of gaslighting. Own up and just say to President Joe Biden the following words:

No, you are missing the point. Clearly, the US should be able to produce without restrictions and pursue alternatives simultaneously. I’m all for pursuit of alternatives yet fail to see the benefit of restricting production. The more we produce, the less we are dependent on foreign oil.

The more alternatives we have to oil, the less dependant we are on foreign oil because we cannot produce enough to offset the OPEC cut backs.

The more we produce does not offset the OPEC cutbacks? Would you say that the more we produce lessens or increases our dependence on OPEC produced oil?
