au contraire. The truth is the following:
The Democrats philosophy is geared toward making things easier for folks who have not earned them. Conservatives believe in the principle of variety, while liberal perspectives result in a narrowing uniformity. Under conservative principles, there will be differences in class, material condition and other inequalities. The only uniformity will be before the law. Society will not be perfect.

Under Democrats, the CRA was passed with this very principle in mind: end red-lining, which means give loans where they were not given before, with the assumption that the loans were withheld for inappropriate reasons.

Under Democrat congresses Fannie and Freddie were enacted. Neither would exist under the rules of the Free Market, only via a 'feel-good' Democrat philosophy.
Frank blocked regulation of housing policy.
Dodd took bribes from Countrywide for the same reason.
The Clinton HUD forced more banks to give unwarrented loans. The banking industry spun out of control trying to make money in this iillegitimate atmosphere.
