Republicans are losing on all fronts and for good reason, they are on the wrong side of history on all of these issues.

Being smacked upside the head 3 times this week alone should be a message to anyone who believes that the GOP knows what it is doing.

It doesn't!

This nation is moving forward and republicans can either be a part of the future or remain as part of the problem.

But no matter what the GOP can't stop the progress or the momentum towards a better, healthier, more equitable future for all Americans.

Why are flags flown over government buildings?

Have you ever taken a state or local oath of office?

That oath usually involves swearing to uphold the state and federal constitutions.

The flags flying over those state government buildings represent the state and the federal government.

So what exactly does the confederate flag represent?

If no one is swearing an oath to the confederacy then what purpose does it serve?

Removing a symbol that is no longer relevant and placing it in the museum where it belongs is a logical step for any government.

Even more so when that flag was only placed there as a kneejerk reaction to granting civil rights in the 1960's, 100 years or so after the confederacy was defeated.

A flag that doesn't represent the state has no purpose.

Or are you trying to make the case that it does represent the state because then you need to explain exactly how it represents the state.
