Perhaps but it does bring to the discussion issues all of the GOP candidate will be forced to address at some point, such as the fallacy that cutting taxes generates jobs and stimulates spending.

Corporation don’t hire when their tax ‘burden’ is decreased, for example, it goes to profits.

And there’s nothing wrong with that, of course, that’s what businesses are supposed to do: make a profit. Hiring more employees is the last thing they want to do; if they could operate without employees they’d do it.

So it’s disingenuous and specious for any GOP candidate to make such an argument.
