Atheism: See Spot Laugh

Students were required to start the day with “The Lords Prayer “ whether they were. Christian or not

The Courts rightfully said the schools had no business in endorsing Christianity

What does that have to do with my point? I'm the classical liberal here, you statist bootlick. You and your little laughy faces and obtuse posts. You and BreezeWood are the fools who would that the state impose a one-size-fits-all tyranny. I'm the one telling you that the government has no business imposing any ideological worldview, Christian or otherwise, down our throats. I'm the one pointing out that universal school choice in the public education system is the only constitutionally valid solution. That is NOT the solution the leftist Court order!

that is their ruling - the natural and constitutionally valid solution. universal school choice -

* keeping the desert religions out of public education is not an inherently difficult decision to understand for initiating their landmark ruling.

I welcome you to provide some
First define God so I know we're on the same page.
Exactly.
If RW rejects the notion of a magical man in the sky, well every other Christian does also.

The Eternal Creator is not a super powerful Star Trek character.

That's the third time I've asked him to define God.

Response: smiley faces, obtuse posts, a demand for evidence.

The fact that he doesn't seem to grasp why we have to be on the same page tells me all I need to know about his utter lack of thought regarding the problem of existence and the theological construct of first principles.

As for the concerns of natural and constitutional law, he and BreezeWood can't get past their hysterical hatred for Christianity to grasp the fact that I'm a classical liberal defending original intent, not arguing that the Lord's prayer be imposed on their children like lefty imposes his filth in the state schools.

I'm independently wealthy. I built and sold a business of great value. My wife and I educate our children at home. I pay twice for education--taxes to support the state schools I will not use as I bear the expenses of education at home.

As for the children of impoverished families. . . . Rich lefties send their children to private schools while they deny the poor and middle class choice.

The Court's education rulings of the '50s and '60s are an incoherent rash of humanist and socialist thuggery. You're not a classical liberal; you're a statist bootlick.

defend all you like the original intent, just keep in mind the civil war amendments and the due process for all citizens irregardless of locality in your classical liberal thinking ... if that was not properly taken care of already - by the amendments. in the courts ruling.

your obsession with christianity is yours alone.

your obsession with christianity is yours alone.

You silly ass.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof
Shove the Warren Court's church (state schools) and it's religion (humanism) up your ass.

Ignore

What you refer to as 'magical horse shit' is what BEGAN science in the West
So what? That's not support for it being part of science, now. Astrology began Astronomy... Alchemy began Chemistry... and where are those piles of magical hoo-ha, now? Not in Astronomy or Chemistry classes, that's for sure. That's what it means to improve something, and to replace bad ideas with better ideas: the old ideas are left behind. The people still lugging around iron aged myths should consider trying it.

The point is that you do not know what you are talking about

Prayer was taken out of schools. It was a wise decision

The point is that you're as obtuse as a box of rocks. Once again:

As for the concerns of natural and constitutional law, he and BreezeWood can't get past their hysterical hatred for Christianity to grasp the fact that I'm a classical liberal defending original intent, not arguing that the Lord's prayer be imposed on their children like lefty imposes his filth in the state schools.

That aspect of the Court's decision—i.e., the removal of the imposition of certain trappings of the Christian religion—was correct! What have I written anywhere asserting that I disagree with that aspect of the decision?

crickets chirping

There is nothing profound about your observation, but, apparently, my point is light years above the altitude of your IQ. Either that or you're pretending not to grasp the point or are empathetically incapable of grasping the point. Which is it?

See link regarding the pertinent matter of natural and constitutional law: Revisions and Divisions: the subversion of the principle of the separation of church and state

By the way, I'm a member in a home-schooling association that raises funds to help folks get their kids into private schools of their choice or home school.

Now define God.

What a bunch of vapid whining. None of your toddlerish pearl clutching and self praise supports a single one of your asserttions about God. Only a moron whose mind is addled by magical nonsense and faith would think it does.

mockery

of course.

like trump,like trumpette....

the shit doesn't fall far from the donkeys ass

I no longer expect any conservative to behave with any decency or civility.

Now if you could only muster up the courage to produce a civil counterargument without all the womanish drama, actually attempt to give a coherent account as to how an actual infinity were possible, explain why an infinite regress of causality or the notion of existence arising from nonexistence weren't absurd. If only you could tell us from whence the idea of God comes, indeed, define the idea of God without necessarily conceding precisely what the empirical and rational evidence for God's existence is. . . .

crickets chirping

what the empirical and rational evidence for God's existence is. . . .

Well, there isn't any. That might explain the behaviors of the angry, self-hating, hyper-religious types.

Angry religionists whining!

Oh, so you are an atheist because you are an ignoramus.

You don't answer the questions because you are an ignorant troll, only trying to get people upset.

Fucking moron.

So, religious people insist that atheists admit that religion can be a good choice and a good thing for people.

Okay, you're turn.

Can you think of a good reason a person may adopt atheism, or a benefit from it?

Anything? I bet you can't give a serious, intelligent answer.
